WaBa Grill — Restaurant in Santa Fe Springs

Over all I love Waba Grill. Food is great. But this location's drive thru service on this day was below acceptable.

I paid $15.33 for a half and half bowl and a all white chicken bowl with white rice on a Tuesday on May at about 3:15 pm.

The team member that took my order had a hard time understanding me as I did him and had to repeat my order 3 times . fortunately my order was correct. When I drove up to the pay window I was greeted by another team member whose English was barely understandable. When we opened our to go bag no extra sauce, no napkins or any plastic ware to eat with and we had to eat on our way to our destination. This place is getting absolutely ridiculous, I ordered a chicken plate and asked for a substitution of fruit instead of salad.

I simply don't like their salad and had always asked for double fruit instead of getting the salad, turns out that they charged me a $1.00 to give me double fruit and not take the salad.

I had always asked for this before and never got charged. I spoke to the manager about it but he just did nothing. I'll never be back, if I'm gonna spend $14.00 dollars for a chicken plate, better go to an actual restaurant and not a fast food one like Waba.

My friend and I went to go eat here and the shift lead or who ever that girl was with the gold name badge came up to us and yelled at us saying not to take pictures of them. I was shook that she approached us like that one bc it was so aggressive, I showed her my phone and it was a picture of my friend eating her food and flexing her muscle, not one employee was in the background. I mean I get it if we can’t take pictures in the dining area but to come up to us and yell and accuse us of that is ridiculous. She needs to learn how to show guest service if she’s the “lead”.
