My Auction House — Local services in Whittier

A really trashy company selling store returns that are purchased by the pallet at another auction. Their customer service was laughable claiming they “didn’t want to bug the management” regarding refunding the sales tax after I submitted my resale permit. After I said I wanted a COMPLETE refund the tone changed and they said that they would in fact refund the sales tax. Mind you this is like $5. Absolutely insane. Not wanting to do business with an organization like this I opted for the full refund minus the 25% restocking fee. The restocking fee came out to a little over $12 and it wasn’t even worth disputing it with my credit card company. Keep the $12 you trashy nincompoops. Have a burrito, on me. As long as I never have to exchange another email with you it’s well worth it.

There are so many other reputable auction companies in the area. Look up Dosa and Prime. They are good people and sell the same types of items. They also work with people when issues arises. They never try to hustle...

How does one lose a couch? I won a small couch went to pick it up and was told they could not locate it or must have given it to someone else! What? What is the point of an auction if anyone can take whatever they feel they want? Very disappointed in how they manage their inventory. Bid at your own discretion because if someone else really wants it, there is a possibility that you may show up for nothing... One more thing apparently after leaving a bad review they will cancel your account lol.No accountability whatsoever. Ok so received a response back saying it was a kids sofa (JACH Modular Sectional Couch, Love Seat Sofas, Modern Convertible Cloud Couch, Cushion Covers Removable, Comfy Sectional Couch for Living Room Apartment) that was the item it's impossible to say it was in a vacuum seal small package so please elaborate on...

Love this auction house and love the employees. The people who work at this location and who run it are truly wonderful, helpful, and friendly. Excellent customer service. Exceeds the service one would even get at a traditional commission based store, or retail store from a customer service position. For a warehouse location they excel in service.

Coming out of a COVID financial slump, my husband and I don’t have to let our home show it. Our home still can look great and up to date with the quality products we get from this auction house and were lucky to not have to live without anything we normally couldn’t afford.
