I’d like to start off by exposing the liars and misinformed people in the reviews. For starters, I travel to Sinaloa quite often. And the food at this particular establishment is both delicious and authentic. The carne asada is NOT bland at all. It’s smoky, juicy and tender. However, the adobada is actually my favorite meat that they serve (most flavorful). I had it in a flour tortilla taco. Also, the guacamole and salsa are fully authentic. For those that are unfamiliar with Sinaloan cuisine, their guacamole is more of a purrée with dairy. It doesn’t have tomato, onion or cilantro. Also, the salsas tend to be more liquid form than thick. So I don’t understand calling the salsa “soupy.” It’s authentic. If you don’t understand these things then you may be unfairly criticizing this place. It needs to be said that if you are used to Tijuana style tacos, Mexico City style tacos, or American style tacos, this place doesn’t not serve tacos like that at all. Therefore, I recommend flour tortilla at this establishment. The only downside of this place is that the guy at the front counter looks miserable and spreads that energy well lol. He looks tired of being there. Lastly, the tripa meat is a bit strong. Maybe a bit too strong for anyone curious about it. Try it in a taco first. Aside from that, this place is solid. The prices may seem high but that’s the price you pay for...
Read moreA small restaurant that seemed to be kept well cleaned at first . The tables stay dirty for a good amount of time after someone gets up and leaves ( seems everyone has to clean their own table) .
I tried ordering a burrito with no beans and rice, but they said THEY HAD TO sell it like that. So, I thought then I’ll just have them put it on the side, but that was a no as well.
Went with the asada torta and a vampiro Taco instead. The price is ok for the quality of meat. For me personally, the carne asada lacked flavor and it was not soft when chewing.
The salsas were good, but not sure if the guacamole is made from instant powder or freshly made in house.
This Taco place has its simplicity , but I didn’t think the food matched their prices on the menu.
Overall, I wouldn’t be in a hurry to come try this place again, but I also would say that if it’s opened late at night, I would give it another try. also would say that if it’s opened late at night, I would give it...
Read moreWOW. my husband took me here because he's from Sinoloa and so is everyone that works here. AMAZING. I mean... for all you pumpkin spice girlies and "GYME" influencers that LOSE THEIR SHIT over avocado...... UNLIMITED. FREE. LIQUID. GUACAMOLE. Tbh, not even a fan of guac, but this hit differently.
We both got the carne asada quesadilla. Bomb. 💣 Salsa? Spicy. Flavorful. Condiments? No request for refill. Do it yourself. Horchata? Best ever. Jamaica? Niiiiice. Refreshing. Asada? I mean... you gotta try. I've never tasted a quesadilla in flavor layers. It didn't taste like I was eating one bit of everything mixed together. With each bite I could taste each different item in a layer. Maybe not a layer or whatever but that's the best way to describe it for you to understand that you need to go here. That's all.
Oh, and affordable. 2 drinks and 2 quesadillas for $21. I mean, how they profit is beyond me. Not complaining. Keep them prices low, and my...
