Centro Cultural is amazing wonderful people!! They helped me obtain a 10 year housing voucher and helped me get into the house I live in now. Going from a drug influence lifestyle, with revolving doors in and out of jails and prison. In 2020 , I was released from prison and Washington County parole officers told me there was no resources for any housing for me and that if I needed a place to stay to pitch a tent at dairy creek in Hillsboro . (Hopeless) Then to not ever having enough money to pay for parole , court ordered classes, rent , gas, food, bills, and never being able to get ahead in life. To finally being off parole for the first time in my adult life . In the process of obtaining full custody of my son and becoming a full time father . This would not have been possible with out the help from Yesinia and her team with Central Cultural. They play a big apart of my amazing journey !! For that, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for the major help you have been!! ❤️ My clean date is 8/18/2021! Today I have no reason to want to give up !! Thank you again!!

Read moreMy boys went to their summer steam program. At first my sons were nervous about being the only few black students there. The staff made it very clear they would not tolerate any disrespect towards any student. My sons enjoyed themselves. The kids were nice and the staff were so helpful and kind. They spoiled all of the students there. They had fun activities for them to do and the field trips they took the kids on were unbelievable! My sons thought it was going to be a regular summer school and it was far from it. My oldest son showed me all of his creations he did during the program, it was neat. They needed for nothing. They even spoiled us parents with the delicious food they provided during get togethers. At the end of ALL of the spoiling they gave all of the kids back to school supplies!!! How sweet they are. Thank you to all of the staff you guys...
Read moreFor the first time in my life I couldn't pay my water bill and it was scheduled for shut off. I called Central Cultural and by the next day they had generously paid much of my bill, which gave me more precious time to come up with the rest of the money I needed to pay. The process was quick, professional and courteous, and the women I dealt with were friendly and helpful. Hopefully when I'm in a better position again I can donate back what was gifted to me. Thank you very...
