This is a nice, easily accessible beach! Parking is free on the road. You may need to walk a bit to get to the beach, depending on where you get a parking spot. There is a large rock wall dividing the beach and the road, so you can't just walk straight out from where you park. You have to walk along the wall to get to the opening for the beach. There is a public restroom available at the entrance for the beach.
The beach itself is a great spot to take in the views and sounds of the ocean while enjoying some sun. However, due to contamination from the Tijuana River, further south swimming is at your own risk. The water definitely looks inviting and refreshing here, but it has times of bacteria infestation from the sewage that drains into the Tijuana River and then into the ocean. There is a sign posted upon entering the beach letting people know of this contamination. However, I only noticed one small sign. There should probably be more incase anyone misses the one sign when walking in.
Overall, it's a nice spot to enjoy the ocean. Just be cautious...
