Empire Furniture For Less — Attraction in Corpus Christi

3 months ago I gave a pretty bad review of this place (see below) - but I decided to give them another try (June 2015) and it was MUCH BETTER!!! Chrystal was fabulous and she worked very hard to find us what we were looking for. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 rating is because they we couldn't see or sit on the sofa to see if we liked it for comfort because they did not have one in stock. So we had to just buy it and take it home - which it is NOT something I like. But my husband likes it, so we kept it. But as for the customer service - MUCH MUCH BETTER!!!!! I would recommend anyone to go there, but try to see and sit on your furniture before you buy it to see if its really want you want.

Sure they were great when you first walk in the door, yes they helped you and showed you their merchandise - but once you left the store or ordered something from them - ABSOLUTELY NO FOLLOW UP OR CONTACT!!! I even called Chrystal and told her specifically after she had failed to notify us about a delay in the arrival of our furniture - I told her...."After we purchase this bedroom furniture, we will then need living room furniture. The most important thing to me is CUSTOMER SERVICE, so will you be able to provide good customer service to me in the future?" Of course she said yes (what else would she say). And then one week later - she did THE SAME THING - no follow up - no follow through!! They never called us to tell us that our furniture is not arriving on time AGAIN!!! If we had not called them the day before we were scheduled to pick up - we would have never known!! Please define customer...

We had an outstanding experience at Empire Furniture for Less today, and I couldn't be happier with the service we received. I’ve had a great experience with Empire Furniture and highly recommend them. Over time, I’ve purchased multiple items — including two bedroom sets, queen, king, and twin mattresses, two couches with a pull-out, and a couch with a love seat. Mr. Lonnie was my sales rep, and he went above and beyond from start to finish.

I own multiple properties, and Lonnie made the entire process seamless. He filled work orders accurately and charged them to the correct units, saving me a lot of time and hassle.

There were times I needed furniture same day, and other items I needed by the next day. Lonnie verified what was in stock and made sure I got exactly what I needed, when I needed it. On one occasion, an item was delivered incorrectly, but he resolved it within the hour by having the team return and swap it out no excuses, just quick action and great service.
