Whataburger — Restaurant in Corpus Christi

I've never been one to complain, I've worked with food/fast-food/management so I know it gets bad at times. But this wasn't a good experience for me, I just got off work and decided to pick up a salad from whataburger since its right down the street.A woman took my order and Ask if I would like anything else I ask her if they had Apple pies and she replied yes. So I added two of those as well. I ordered at 3:37 a.m. waited and waited..... Finally at approximately 4:11 a.m. I got my order. I then asked an employee if it takes 5-7 minutes to make a grilled chicken and she said 5 mins. Why I waited sooooo long for something that should have taken but maybe 8-10 mins at the most? I don't know but all 5 people in the lobby seemed to have waited 30 plus mins as well. I understand they might not have had a lot of staff but for them to be walking around, play with each other, talking to family members in the lobby, completely ignoring the long line of people in the drive thru, and a younger newer staff member to be cursing in the front where EVERYONE can hear her.... This all very very unprofessional. By the time I got home, the grilled chicken from my salad was cold, and I know it was old chicken cause of the horrible taste it had to it. I was sincerely thirsty for some water on my 43rd birthday and passing by this particular Whataburger. I went in and the manager was cool about giving me a cup for some ice water while in the middle of a management task. Very professional..Very cool! I love this Whataburger because there's always been a good Corpus Christi vibe to it. Fun fact...back in the day around the time we lost Kurt Cobain, the band DIO came to eat here after having their order messed up and take too long at the Kettle restaurant across the street at the time which is now the BBVA. I was the busboy..they left a good tip to my buddy Sandra who was stoked to have waited on them. I was all like, "ronnie who?...ohh,DIO". needless to say I wasn't a fan but her excitedness actually got me pumped up! They were on foot and I remember as the band walked across the street to this Whataburger I remember clearly thinking, "That ronnie dudes pretty short". All I saw was hair...

Very, very disappointed with Whataburger at Ayers & SPID in Corpus Christi, Texas. Here I am coming from Las Vegas couldn't wait to "have it my way". What is this? And this is the one that they redid after giving me the wrong one that I'm ALLERGIC (it had bbq sauce on it?) to in the beginning. How did I end up with a deconstructed Whataburger? Just to get my original order I had to visit another location. First we know that if the paper is white then that means no cheese. I paid for a cheeseburger. Almost got a whole head of lettuce but one extra pickle, my cheese on the side, and a cup of 4 pickle slices as a regular Whataburger comes with 3...
