Today we had the pleasure of trying the cuisine at this restaurant. We had been looking for a place so special and affordable for a while. Upon arriving, we were greeted by a friendly lady (I don't remember her name) and shown to our table. That's when our excellent experience began. First of all, it's worth mentioning that the table was impeccably clean and, surprisingly, it wasn't sticky or smelled like pine salt or vinegar. And as a bonus, there WAS NOT A FLY in the place (I can hear someone yelling amen to God). Anyone who lives here in Texas knows how hard it is to eat in the summer without flies. Finally, our waiter Daniel arrived (it's worth mentioning that he is an exemplary employee). Since it was our first time there, I wanted more time to look at the menu and understand the cuisine we would be having there. He was super patient and helpful, helping us understand and choose our meal! It was an incredible experience, we will definitely be back and recommend anyone who is visiting Corpus Christi or who plans to visit to stop by and try it. I recently ordered takeout from this amazing Mexican restaurant, and I have to say—it exceeded all my expectations! The shrimp tacos were absolutely incredible—perfectly cooked, very well seasoned, and bursting with fresh, vibrant flavor. They were easily some of the best I’ve ever had. The rice that came with the meal was phenomenal too—fluffy, flavorful, and a perfect complement to the tacos.

I also tried the bacon-wrapped shrimp, and wow—just wow. They were juicy, crispy on the outside, and incredibly fresh. Every bite was packed with bold, delicious flavor.

Even though I placed a to-go order and didn’t have much interaction with the staff, the pickup process was smooth and efficient. I just walked in, showed my confirmation, and was out the door in seconds. The food was packaged really well, still hot when I got home, and everything looked just like it was advertised—no surprises, just great food.

We love this place and go all the time and it’s so sad the manager was so rude to my husband. We asked the manager if we can come any day of the month of our birthdays for the free meal since my birthday is December 16th and my husbands is December 25th and assumed they would be closed on Christmas Day.. my birthday, okay I understand whatever but man…the manager answered swiftly and very rudely that it has to be on that day.. my husband told him that his birthday is on the 25th, Christmas Day and the manager said rudely that they’re open on Christmas Day. TOTAL LIE for one. This post clearly says they are closed December 25th! Second, why be so rude?? Wow! Way to treat customers who come a lot and enjoy it here.
