OC Smalltech Computer Repair — Attraction in Costa Mesa

I was having trouble with my phone charging. Somebody recommended this place to me. Of course, I didn't listen. Instead I went to the crackphone place on Harbor and Wilson. Sign said OPEN but there was no one around. It was raining pretty hard and didn't appreciate standing there in the rain knocking on their window not knowing if anyone was even there. Well, that dude lost my business and so I went to OC Smalltech, as recommended I do, and boy am I glad I did. 3 people were in the little green shack ready to help me with my problem. Tony was the one who greeted me and handled the job quickly and professionally. He really knows his stuff. Once we determined that it was the port and not the cable, Tony made quick work of it and had it repaired in a half an hour. The price was fair, especially for how quick he had the job done. AND he guarantees his work. Tony is my cell phone doctor from here on out....

I cracked my S23 Ultra phone screen and went to get it fixed same day. He said he had the screen and was able to replace in 2hrs. Came back to a screen replacement that only showed a portion of the screen with rounded edges and not the full edge to edge original screen. The guy said I did not ask for an OEM screen. How was I supposed to know to ask for OEM? Who does not want their screen to look the same as it was before and not want an OEM screen replacement? He also didn't even have the OEM screen available when I asked to fix this. As I was waiting for the OEM screen to arrive, not only is this screen replacement a horrible display and battery draining, but the back of this phone is now separating. Ultimately, I had to get a new phone from what should have been an easy screen replacement. I would avoid this place. He was dishonest and did poor job...

CALLED AT THIS PLACE TO SEE IF THEY CAN ADD MORE RAM AND TO REPLACE MY SATA DISK FOR A FLASH STORAGE ( REGULAR HDD,, TO SSD AND SSD ON MY MACBOOK PRO OLD MODEL WHEN IN PERSON HE SAID HE COULD DO IT AND THAT HE WOULD CHARGE ME 180 TO DO EVERYTHING SO I TOLD HIM NAH THANKS MY DAD RECOMMENDED ME TO THIS PLACE IN SANTA ANA SO I WENT THERE TOLD THEM EXACTLY THE SAME THING AND THEY ONLY CHARGED ME 60$$ FOR BOTH RAM AND SSD REPLACEMENT FOR 60$ DAMM I COULD OF DONE IT MY SELF BUT YOU KNOW THERE IS TIMES WHERE YOU FEEL LAZY TO DO ANYTHING SO I WENT AND TOOK MY 2012 MID MACBOOK PRO AND MY 2015 MID MACBOOK PRO AND HE OLD CHARGED ME 120 AND SINCE I WAS FIRST TIME AND GOT RECOMMENED HE ONLY CHARGED ME 100 SO NEXT TIME YOU TO LOOK FOR GOOD PRICES ITS BETTER TO LOOK AROUND THEN WASTING...
