Church on the Rock | Daingerfield — Attraction in Daingerfield

In the area for wedding services and the reception meal was served following a short and simple ceremony. Not being from the area or member of the church it’s hard saying if much of the immediate decorum was for wedding specifically but there was not much fancy to the actual room used for the event. I’d assume in part to fit the seating and table space for the guest list in attendance. Church was easy to find but there are lots of doors and lots of parking areas to use so it can be intimidating to enter. No mention of the event or signage of any sort on any door or otherwise made it worrisome we had arrived somewhere that regular evening services, church study groups or maybe even other private events that one might not want to crash might be going on. However once inside it is quite spacious and used to promote much more marketing of promotional items than I’ve ever seen in any church setting…not just about God / Faith but also the church itself. Books and mugs and shirts…but it seems school spirit is huge in TX so maybe church affiliation being put on blast is also a norm.?. Forgive my ignorance on the matter. The actual intended or what seemed more likely main entrance was used for my exit but as said I was entered much more cautiously having wondered around the building completely unsure of where to get or where I was going really. My adventures taken were for a bathroom stop and revealed all the wonders mentioned. I must say there was some thought, time and effort put forth in the designing of the furniture and signage upon entry. Not only the main ‘foyer’ area which is wide open and bright….but even as u wonder forward to a central hallway there continues to be a main scheme to the decoration and furnishings. Not so much functional in terms of location per se…but all very well put together. Even the ladies room had many fixtures and quite remarkable seating should one need to take a moment or needed a large mirror area. Not at all public restroom feel…and definitely way to formal for a homey feel to it…i imagine a good portion of the promotional item sales went into the interior budget. But again…the room of the formal event was kind of barren and had not much of any to any ‘sound’ or digital media entertainment system. A few fake ficus trees and some mobile floral with candles item that is quite possibly religion based). The otherwise general theme to the interior had stopped and left this room to fend for itself. The set up and staging area available and used to set up buffet style family pot luck dining was a plus. And again if the tables and chairs there for my friends wedding are always there for those who use the space as functional gathering or venue spot…that would also be a plus. Save much on rental fees and work that is otherwise needed to get. Not convinced I seen the actual worship room of the church but thank u to my hosts (The new Mr and Mrs….) and a kind thank u to the church itself for having...

Awesome pastor. Went to this church about twenty years ago and the people are still just as sweet. Thank you for the open arms. And thank you for the awesome help with the Jesus Burger. Can't wait till next month to enjoy the fellowship together. If you are local and need a home church in Daingerfield this is the church...
