Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Daingerfield

Placed an order on the app for 4 people. Got there about 7 min later and notified them (through the app) that we were there. About 5 min later got a notification that my order was on it's way! That was faster than just going and ordering there... or so I thought. Waited about 5 min (thinking they had accidentally pushed the order through) after getting the notification, and I had to push the button to get my order (that was ready already) brought out to me. After getting my order I noticed that there was a misunderstanding (on my part) on a free corn-dog through the app. I had to order another one. Got the notification again that my order was on it's way... Waited again (for only 2 min that time) and had to push the button again and get my one corn-dog brought out to me... In all the time I was there I had only seen one car pull out of a stall and three others go around to the drive-thru... Don't put out the notification that an order is ready if you not ready to...

Sonic food is different but average to the burger industry. It is, however, my wife's go-to place for tea and a snack. My big complaint with Sonic? They stopped selling the Frito cheeze chilli pie. That's just wrong. It is one of my favs. The potato chili wrap just does not do it for me. It is un-American to substitute a tortilla for fritos. I have had a couple of managers say, "ask staff to make you one. " I tried that, Instant brain freeze. If it is not on the board, forget it. I tried, "OK! I want a chili potato wrap. Drop the tortilla, drop the potato, keep the cheeze and chili, add yesterday's onions, then add fritos with a dash of mustard." "Sir, the tortilla is what we serve it in. Are you sure you don't want the tortilla? No, I don't want the tortilla. Put my order in one of the banana boxes you use for hot dogs." "Ok sir, you want a hot dog. Got it. Would you like chili, cheese, and onions on...

I just ordered a sonic blast but the worker Sarah busted a hole in the bottom of the cup so she was walking all around thru the kitchen with the ice cream hanging from the bottom if the cup so she finally came bck and got another cup to get the ice cream out if the busted one. She reached for another cup but she dropped it on the floor and picked it up and started putting the ice cream in it so I honked my horn and asked her to just make a fresh one. She rolled her eyes and went to the manager and he thought that I wasnt watching him but he put the same ice cream frim the cup that she dropped on the floor and gave it to me so by that time I was pisssd then she comes back to the window being smart! The manager didn't do anything. I will no longer go there that was cross contamination. And won't nothing b done...
