This is about my 5th time here. No problem until now, but this last time, the guy that came to lug up the wheels was a white dude I had never seen before. Anyway, I was taking off a wheel this morning to change my shocks, and one lug was hard to get off. The only way to remove it was to snap the stud. They obviously cross threaded this bolt. Not good.
When I worked as a tire guy at Good Year 25 years ago, we did it right. We had a set of torque sockets that hung on the wall. 70 to 110 foot pounds. Threading it on a half turn and then impacting it is the wrong way, and this is why I will never go to a backwoods...
