It's the kind of place where I go when I don't need anything. It's fun in a stereotypical guy way to wander the aisles and gawk at the incredible selection of tools, pumps, cases, tarps, hardware and on and on. I learn about things I didn't know existed, and about how specialized equipment has become.

After an hour or so, I will have gotten my fill of welding rods, bumper hammers, socket converters and impact tools. But first I have to check out with the armload of items I realized I couldn't live without. All I have to do is figure out how to use them.

The staff is very helpful to amateurs like me and able to talk in depth with friends who've had careers working as welders and oil field roughnecks.

And prices are affordable, especially if you keep an eye on the price tags where you'll usually find clearance items or sales markdowns not always advertised among the regular merch. Weekly ad fliers are available online and there's a loyalty discount program that will pay for itself in a...

Employees are fine, but the store manager is lazy and incompetent. Preordered a tool box but I found out on my own afterward and without the managers help that a different harbor freight on belt line road had the toolbox on hand. Went back to cancel the order so that I could go to the beltline store to buy it there instead. But the store manager told me that he couldn't do the refund even though customer service department and the the belt line road store manager told me at 3 different times that this store needed to do the refund. I'm not sure what the first guys problem was but I dont recommend this location. Thankfully The manager and store at the beltline location is far more competent and refunded the order despite the fact that its was this store managers job to do that. then let my buy the tool box from them that they had on hand. The belt line location is far more deserving of business...

I really love this store. I'm here all the time as they have great deals, great promo codes, and usually great service. Today our cashier made us feel like we were a total burden. The shift supervisor, Octavio, had agreed to discount an item for me, and as we came to the register to pay, our cashier, Gabe, rather than calling the supervisor over to change the price, suspended our transaction and made us wait in line again at a different register for the supervisor to ring us up himself. All the while huffing and puffing and having an attitude when we asked about the price of an item that should have been on sale with our member discount, and of course about the item previously mentioned. Thank you, Octavio, for always giving us great service. I'm sure you run a tight ship, but perhaps there's a little room for improvement in...

I live in the neighbor around the Skillman store and 18 wheelers seem to idle over night or even stay for days at a time! The trucks are running so we have to live with the constant humming engine noise, and rattling windows from vibration. I spoke to a manager earlier today 11/6/2023 and told him they are parking longer and longer, sometimes an entire day or through the night. It seems these drivers are sleeping in their trucks instead of going to an actual truck stop. Could you have drivers park away from residence street (Walling Ln) or go park in an actual truck parking area? It is very annoying to have to live with that noise.

I needed a drill to mount my 55' tv. First, I searched online to find a store with mounts. I saw a coupon, which was a good deal may I add, from Harbor Freight Tools. I quickly GPS'd it and went there. I liked the fact that the actual product that was advertised was in store. The store was organized and clean. Yes, you need face covering and the staff is very helpful. The cashier even told me to stay safe. I will recommend this HFT location to anyone. And look at my pic, I mounted my TV!!!
