Fito’s Tacos de Trompo Abrams — Restaurant in Dallas

The tacos are amazing here but in good conscience, I cannot continue to support the place. I have never been so disrespected as I have in this establishment.

There is a portly woman with extreme black hair and blonde chunk highlights that is there often and anytime I show up, I am sure that I am not going to receive decent customer service.

Once, I walked into the place, I was the only one there and she was addressing something with her POS system. I waited patiently yet she did not acknowledge me whatsoever. Once she was done rebooting the system I thought for sure I would be greeted and allowed to order but instead, she acted like I wasn't there and went and got her purse from under the counter and proceeded to apply hand sanitizer and then sat down as if I were invisible. Strike one...I wasn't going to say anything because that day I really wanted those tacos.

Soon after, I took a co-worker there and when I saw the woman there I told her... Oh no, that's the terrible woman I told you about. No, She was nice as could be and it made me look insane

Today I went alone to the establishment and walked right past her outside while she was talking to an older gentleman who seems to be on her shift often. They both saw me walk in but made no effort to come inside to take my order. I gave them 5 minutes before I decided that I was no longer going to take their blatant disregard. I left the establishment and walked right past them on my way out and then the woman eyeballed me as I drove past them. Then she proceeded into the restaurant.

I have no idea what this woman could possibly have against me. I am an elderly woman smartly dressed and usually coming from my corporate job for the same three trompo tacos to go. And, what really hurts is that I always leave a tip for a to-go order.

Anyway, I won't be returning to Fito's. I give up! They're not the only game in town. I am sick of that woman's disrespect and lack of customer service. They're acting like they're the only game in town when in fact there are plenty of places to get tacos. I'm driving two exits down to go back to Chilango's. I think they are the...

This is one of my new favourite taco spot in Dallas. They have one of the most delicious Trompo Tacos in the Dallas Metroplex area. Super delicious. Service is great I been here a few times now all the staff is really friendly and helpful. Always welcome me with a smile and great service. Took care of my order in a timely matter. Even though it was a little bit busy. Maybe about 7 people ahead of me. Tacos were hot a ready to eat. Full of flavor and well served lots of meat. With side of grilled onions & fresh white onion and cilantro as well as lime wedges. Great spicy green salsa and red salsa. The Torta was had a little bit of everything and just the right amount of meat and condiments super delicious and flavorful the fries were crispy and well seasoned.. Gotta give them props. Our first experience here was lackluster. We ordered nachos, 6 trompo tacos and a quesadilla. We asked for 3 plain and 3 especial. We some how got 3 trompo especial and 3 beef? We didn't return the incorrect tacos but decided to try them. The beef here is not good. It was greasy and flavorless. The trompo tacos were very good and the cilantro and onions were fresh! The nachos have a canned cheese that is really disappointing in flavor and unfortunately we didn't eat much of that. The quesadilla was fine but thats a tortilla with cheese. No fountain drinks here only bottled beverages. The interior is quite clean but the flavor on the nachos meat and beef taco are awful.
