I've made two Saturday trips to this location, and all I can say is, it is an experience - in the best way. If you love digging for thrifted treasures, this is the place for you.
The store is massive and appears to be perpetually packed with people from every walk of life, including lots of large families, most speaking Spanish and most having real fun. The checkout lines are super long, the parking lot is consistently gridlocked, and more a/c would be lovely, but the deals, the kind staff, and the happy vibe more than make up for it.
I can't speak to the clothes/fashion items, but I can say the prices and selection on small appliances, electronics, bedding, and housewares are the best I've found in Dallas. And though I'm not a reseller or anything like that, I do a lot - and I mean, a lot - of thrifting. (It's my therapy.) I got a pristine, high-end bread maker for $4 and three sets of beautiful 108"-long velvet curtains for $5, for example, during my first visit (a half-off everything day), and a $600 printer plus a vintage Dansk enameled paella pan for a total of $15 during my second.
Definitely show up early to score parking and nab the best picks, particularly if you're interested in furniture or A/V stuff (e.g., TVs, stereos.) There are diamonds to be found, though, at any time...
Read moreI went a week ago after reading reviews I use to work in a thrift store so I know how things work. Some of the clothes are way over priced for the quality. I do like that they have deals but even at that it's disappointing. The store was neat and I did like how big the store is. The staff is horrible all the ladies were standing around gossiping. I never been so didn't know how the line worked since nobody was in line a staff worker saw me standing but didn't point me in the right direction just smirked and gave an attitude saying it's not the line.there was one cashier but 4 women behind counter standing around talking cashier started ringing up my stuff I let her know I signed up and she rolled her eyes because manager her to restart my purchase so I can get discounts. Cashier was annoyed I spoke in English she looked at me like if I was stupid.worst customer service I ever experienced. To much gossiping and playing in my opinion.i will not good back prices are not worth...
Read moreThis used to be my favorite spot I'm disappointed on the staff they have now! First the whole time I was there like an hour all I heard was gossip which was not a problem until I was in line for a while only one cashier was checking out poor guy he look irritated himself that he was left alone ,the manager was loudly gossiping about other customers while her and 3 other employees help put up small Christmas tree (job of two in my opinion ). There was another cashier but was rude 😠 when I ask her If she was open i thought to myself since all she was doing was standing there listening to the Juicy chisme and straight up said no Im busy turned her back to me..oh and started attending customers when she was finished listening. Also they must not like helping in the jewelry area they always huff and make faces when ask to see different jewelry pieces if i could grab them myself i would !!! Cashiers have no customer service starting with...
