Wow my first time dining in this restaurant super impress. I’m going to star with the service, my friend and I we decided to get a lunch after a business meeting around 11:30 Am and a nice lady with a big smile said welcome, how me assist you. That is a great star, well done Silvia she said we had a special today 3 tacos and a coke for free! Because we are supporting a good causé; well i guess was my lucky day a respond and I choose Silvia favor Tacos, Al pastor, Campechano and carne asada, in addition to that we had a costra taco as well, my friend ordered something similar the restaurant was like half capacity but it only take less than a 5 minutes wow =) we cover our tacos with the 3 delicious salsa frescas with some cilantro and chopped white onions and of course some lime wedge's, know time to give a try, it just takes me back to my childhood on Mexico City, capital of the taco y la garnacha. Everything was super delicious, tender and juicy the costra tacos the crocante was perfect!! Well done. Atmosphere decore was excellent super cool clean and organized, the music was amazing too I really enjoy my tacos. But one of my favorite part was when the Manager on Duty his name Max start checking the tables to make sure everything was perfect Thank you Max!! The churro was delicious Appreciated!!
That’s is one of the reasons why I give you 5 Stars Thanks you all the team of chilango Tacos for such a great experience.
Ps after 25 years of working in a restaurant industry i can tell you this the best taqueria in Dallas, highly recommend. Wish the best for you guys,...
Read moreI found this place by searching “the best tacos in Dallas” on Google. The best part is that it’s only 10min from where I live, it’s on the very edge of Dallas near Irving, so I didn’t have to drive deep into the city - that’s always a plus.
Anyway, I don’t think I can say these are the best tacos in Dallas, but the salsa has to be one of the best salas I’ve ever had (it’s complimentary, along with the guacamole if you eat inside). The best I’ve had so far were at Taquería Taxco, but these were good nonetheless though.
I got my food to-go. I ordered 4 “pollo” (chicken) tacos and chips + salsa. Altogether I spent $12!!!! And if I didn’t get the chips and salsa, I would’ve spent like $10. The affordability alone will bring me back.
I will say, I enjoyed my tacos but the chicken didn’t have as much flavor as I would’ve liked. I had to add salsa, lime, cilantro, and onions to give it all the flavor I needed. It was a good, just not great.
The restaurant is cute, there’s a few tables, but it think it’s more set-up for people to come-and-go. Everyone was nice, the service was quick, and they got my order perfect!
I will be back for sure!...
Read moreSaw a lot of hype on instagram about this place and felt i needed to try it. I was disappointed. Very few taco options. Ifbi remember correctly I saw asada, barbacoa, pastor, and chicken. I got 2 trompo, 1 asada, and one costra. Felt everything was lacking flavor. Salsas were ok.
Ordering was a bit confusing. You order then you get an order slip which i was asked to give to the taquero, so you have to stand around until he comes by the front counter. I had an agua de jamaica which was nice and cold but to my surprise i feel like the habiscus flowers were boiled with cinammon to make the drink. The cinammon threw me off but maybe thats how other people are used to making it.
Tacos are decent sized, tortillas are good tasting but just a tad bit harder than I would want but maybe they just weren't heated properly.
Way overhyped by people who probably havent been to many of the good spots in Dallas. Theres a couple of nearby options that are much better than this. It's a cool place for sure and it has a cool vibe but the food needs a little work. I probably will...
