Best Western Northwest Inn — Hotel in Dallas

I called for pricing they said 129 a night. I told them I was a rewards card holder and had AAA. So they gave me the price of $99. So we took it as we were passing through on our way back home to Fl. I happened to tell the front desk guy that we just need sleep and showers. We checked in at 7am and they kicked us out at 4pm the same day. I've NEVER EVER had to pay a full nights pay and be told we need to check out bc they have to get the room ready for more guest. As I always use best westerns when on the rd. I guess bc I said we just need some good sleep and showers after driving 22 hrs straight. He took advantage of us and made us pay a full night for 9 hrs. They rushed us out of the shower to get out. I didnt have the energy to argue as we had another 22 hr drive ahead of us. I never said we only need 8 hrs or anything. Bc I knew we need a good 8-9 hrs of sleep and had planned on leaving around 9-10pm to get back on the road. So very disappointed and wish I knew the manager in charge to talk to. Bc we were completely taken advantage of. Not to mention the bathroom wasnt very clean. There was blood in the bath tub and hair. I'm not one to complain ever. But this was completely uncalled for. I love best westerns but this particular one I will never stop at again and I suggest to go a few more exits to find another one. Esp if you're traveling to get home and just need a good sleep and shower and refresh before a long rd trip ahead home. I feel we should be partially or even fully refunded since we paid for a full night stay like all other best western where you check out next day by 10 or 11 am. Even though we would have been gone by 10 the latest the same day. I hope a manager or someone higher reads this. Bc this is unacceptable. Called around 10am to reserve a room and was asked what time we planned on getting there, I said within the next 30min- 1hr. Was told that was no problem and he said that it would be $89, I asked if that included tax and was told it did. Reserved the room and got there to check in, he was very nice and gave us our room on the first floor we walked to the room and noticed the door was cracked open but didn’t think to much about it. Noticed there was piss in the toilet and the air conditioning unit was missing making a hole in the wall. The front desk called and said he put us in the wrong room and moved us to an upstairs room, got in the hallway and smelled a very strong smell of marijuana. Got into our new room and it wasn’t bad, bed was comfortable and room was spacious, but water smelled like sewer. Later in the day got a notification that I had gotten $101.69 taken out from my account. Next morning asked them why they said it was $89 with tax and $101 was taken out. He was very rude about it and said that didn’t include tax and since I checked in before 2pm that it was actually cheaper, which he never told me about when I made the reservation. Most likely...

Hotel was okay, not to bad house keepers keep it real clean although they turn off your a/c so it’s real hot when you get in. I stayed there for two weeks going on three, I did however had multiple paranormal experiences. Toward the end of my stay I got woken up around 4:30 -5 am with a loud shout in my ear by a woman at first I thought it was someone in the hallway but right after I had a potent smell of a smoked cigarette to my face. I went back to sleep trying to for get about it, the following night I got woken up around the same time but this time my blow dryer was blowing full blast. I woke up thinking I forgot to turn it off but then realized I hadn’t even used it that day and it turned right off by ITSELF. I layed in bed freaked out ! Turned on all the lights and checked the rest room. The blow dryer wasn’t even plugged in. This hotel is haunted 100% I checked out & asked front desk if they’ve had anything happen to guest like this before and he looked at like he wanted to say yes but immediately recollected himself & said NO. ...
