Very disappointed about this park. Don’t enjoy walks with my dogs anymore. Right side , by the school , where are baseball fields for kids and collage team are the only one I keep visiting. On the left side , softball teams, with laud music , laud cars, people drinking and eating and leaving mess behind including chicken bones and beer tops .. in addition there are people passing with cars with very loud music , that gives you headache . Often I see motorcycles and quads speeding and racing .. plus recently this guy come and wash and vacuum cars in the park , on Saturday’s and sundays ! That’s just ridiculous! I rather drive 30 min to another city to walk in piece . I can relax there, I have to watch on crazy traffic , plus garbage on the ground so my dogs won’t eat anything from the ground . I’m disappointed that all this is allowed in the park . City just...

What a lovely way to spend some time, either alone or with someone else. My dog has been indoors so much during this Winter, I like for us to spend time outside when possible.

I'd forgotten how nice going for a walk at this park can be. There are two routes you can follow. One is about ¼ mile and the other is almost ½ mile. Level, paved paths with lots of benches, picnic tables and trash cans.

It's wide open so you can see what's going on all over the park in just one glance. Plenty of parking. Located in a nice, quiet end of street area.

It even has periodic exercise, "stations." Nothing fancy, but they're modern, easy to use and in very good shape.

Large pond areas where you can watch the geese and ducks do whatever it is that geese and ducks do. (BUT PLEASE...

Maintained nicely for urban park grounds with trail access and a very pretty bike/walking trail around a pond with free parking. As well as a combination soccer & American football field, baseball and softball fields, tennis courts, a wall ball court and a children's park for many ages and abilitys connected to a spray park. Unfortuantly being in the middle of a city means there is almost always garbage left on the ground and they have no dog bag stations like other towns and city's would so people do not always pick up their dogs droppings, and no one pays attention to the signs asking to not feed the birds. In fact many people will just dump chips and bread around...

Roger's Park has changed quite a bit over the years. The pond area of the park is newly updated and you can tell the people there were having fun! Kids running around and playing in the playground, a man and his son(?) Fishing off the little bridge, and people walking the trail, even a man sharing it. It reminded me of my hometown from ...well...a while back LOL... a beautiful place to be. Great job Roger's Park in Danbury, CT. Loved it!
