We had booked Stevie D through Thumbtack, at that point he had shared with me what bounce house rentals he had available for the date I was having a party. I had told him I wasnât ready to put deposit down. One week later he had followed up with me to see if I was ready to book. I agreed, he sent over a contract with the deposit amount. I immediately paid the deposit through Venmo. He had asked if there was any theme for my party to put a banner on the bounce house. He gave me the option of a few things. The week of the party he asked me if it was okay if he came on Friday (party was on Saturday) I told him that was fine. He was supposed to follow up with a time for Friday. I had to reach out with him for a time on Thursday. He told me 4pm Friday. He ended up not showing up until 6:30pm. No apology just showed up. When he started to set things up I noticed the bounce house he had brought was not either of the options he had showed me that were available. Then he brings the banners out and tries to put a happy birthday banner up. It was a house warming party. And he was aware of that. When my husband had expressed the concerns on the bounce house not being either of the ones he said was available. I would have went with a different company if I knew I was paying âxâ amount of $ for a certain bounce house that did not have a slide when I was under the impression that it was a bounce house with a slide. My husband had asked him to take a few dollars off to compensate for what we thought we were going to have. He was extremely rude and did not care about the customer service aspect of his company. Once he heard how upset I was he decided that he was going to pack everything up and because he didnât trust his property with us. I had explained to him that I had every right to be upset for the deceiving contract he had sent. He started packing everything up, I demanded a refund of my deposit, he then refused and said he could not give it back to me via Venmo because it âneeded to come back from the businessâ. I told him he needed to email me stating he was going to give our refund back. He emailed me that exact moment and stated a refund check would be sent out on Monday. We are now a week and a half later with no response and no check. I will be filing a complaint and head to small claims court. No one should ever have to deal with such an inhumane company. The way he behaved was disgusting, he absolutely did not care about costumer service. I hope everyone steers clear of this man...
   Read moreExtremely disappointed with our experience with Stevie D Entertainment. We had booked their services well in advance for a special event, and everything was confirmed â or so we thought. Just two days before the event, we received an email cancellation, stating that their equipment was damaged and they could no longer fulfill the booking.
The timing and reasoning felt highly unrealistic, especially so close to the event. There was no phone call, no effort to help us find a solution â just a brief email and that was it. No alternative options, no compensation, and frankly, no accountability.
As a result, we were forced to find a new entertainment company last-minute, which not only caused a lot of unnecessary stress, but also cost us significantly more due to the urgent nature of the booking. It really impacted our overall event experience.
Reliability and professionalism are everything when it comes to event planning. Unfortunately, Stevie D Entertainment proved to be neither. I would not recommend booking with them unless you're prepared to be left hanging days...

I gave Stevie Entertainment a call and Steven was very responsive, helpful, & super friendly! I ordered this pink combo bounce house for my daughterâs 2nd birthday & it was a hit! The kids & adults LOVED it! I received 2 text messages with a time window of my set up as well as a video of the dos & donâts. I also received 2 text messages with a pick time window. They communicated so well I was able to make sure someone was there as I was running around doing last minute party planning. During the set up I even received a FaceTime call to verify the location of where I wanted the set up location to be. It was honestly an awesome experience & I cannot wait to use this...
