Padaminas Ny Bakery II — Restaurant in Danbury

I have been going to this place for a few years now and the food used to be exceptional. They recently must have changed both their cook because the food tastes diferent, but it isn’t too bad. Now the bakery items have seriously declined in quality. Last time the bakery items were not good but I thought maybe it was an exception. Today I went again and bought a “beijinho” that was seriously awful, and for a brazilian place to mess up a beijinho is almost sacriligious. The cajuzinho and quindim were uneatable, I had to throw it out. They also never have brigadeiros anymore, how can a brazilian bakery not have brigadeiros? I don’t like to leave bad reviews, but my intent is that maybe they will improve their business and be great like they used to be. Food is ok but the service is terrible. Had a few bad experiences in this place.

1-The atendent with big eyelashes screamed with a old lady in the middle of the bakery, and kept screaming with no respect at all.

2- also, the price of the buffet changes according with the person that is weighting for you. I had the same food in my plate for 2 days straight and the price was from around $6 to $16.

3- The man that serves the barbecue keeps complimenting me into a point that is harassment, very uncomfortable, once he even get out of the counter to harass me in the line. Was very unpleasant.

4- And one day I was in line, two of the attendants cut the line on front of me, very rude. they give priority to their own, and not the customers.

Some of the times, my friend was with me and experience bad attitude from staff.

They have Good food , but they have to be ORGANIZED. Every time I went there, I saw the employees inside, nobody ask if you need anything, you try to ask for something they walk away , the first time, I thought that was normal , but I tried several times and was the same. Only because I’m working in Danbury área, but today is my last time. I went there whit a friend , and tha ladie was sweeping the flor whit the place full of costumers, there was only one girl on the balcony , the second one Came from inside and didn’t ask anybody if anyone need anything, the ladie was sweeping didn’t Say anything to help .
