I loved this place since I was a little baby. Oldest produce place that still lasted. This is the best one in Delaware County Pennsylvania! The second best is the one in Eddystone Pennsylvania. Why are they long lasting and last ones standing and still thriving? Because they know what they're doing and they don't try to be bougie with their prices. The other had great location, but they also became "lazy" is a nice way of putting it 🤔👌👌 besides being bougie af. This is in a good spot between SEPTA DARBY LOOP and Mc Donald's not too far from the beer distributor, Salvation Army, Walgreens, Popeye's Chicken restaurant, deli/grinder/beer spot, Darby District Court, Dollar General and the Save A Lot grocery shopping store. Not too far from Darby Creek. Not too far from Blessed Virgin Mary (BVM) and the funeral home and the new furniture store that replaced the old sneaker and clothing and perfume and purse and school bag and luggage store. Not too far two car mechanics too! Not too far from Main Line Pharmacy and the two banks and the Darby Deli. It is not too far away from Salvation Army Church and Department of Public Welfare and the suit store and laundry mat, the pizza store and the place the have rooms for rent. Not too far Community Action Darby Apartments. Very very close to the end of the SEPTA TROLLEY GREEN LINE coming from South West...
Read moreGood Evening Google Family. I have visited this location of Produce Junction before, but it was years ago. They have a nice selection of produce here. I do not understand why they guard the bananas and the oranges. Do people steal them? Just wondering. Nothing else is under lock and key. Any fruit or vegetable that you can name is here. I was not at all thrilled about the young lady who checked me out. She was on her bluetooth, on her phone, and not at all paying attention to what I wanted or what I asked her. Also I asked for a receipt. I notice the location in Glenolden, does the same thing. They don't give you a receipt unless you ask for it. That is TABOO to me, you always should give a customer a receipt. Also they have flowers and flowers for the grave markers, which I thought was nice. What I did not like at all was the parking lot. It is too congested here, very easy to have a Fender-Bender. Also the carts, thank goodness, you don't need a quarter like you do at Aldi's. I do like that feature. However, you have to hold the door for yourself with the cart, no automatic doors here, lol!! And no I will not shop here again. I will be visiting the location on Oak Avenue in Glenolden. Have a great night, Google Family and don't forget...
Read moreTo say that the Manager at this store (Macdade) is disrespectful is an understatement!! Time and again he has disrespected people in my presence. He doesn’t know how to talk to customers neither address a concern. Couple of days I was there to get some sweet potatoes but there was non on the shelf. Fortunately, I saw a worker weighing and packaging the potatoes at the back of the counter... then I asked the worker to give me two packs as I was running out of time. As he was about to hand me the packs, the manger quickly yelled out “ lady, you have to wait !“. I stood there for the another 5 minutes without getting the potatoes then I paid for the items that I had in my hand and left. Such a horrible fellow. Not fit...
