One the worst places I ever been. food no flavor at all. They scamming ppl by charging byob $10 pp but they never said it until we got the check and my pregnant girlfriend and I don’t drink but was till charged I mentioned it and he didn’t want to take it off . They took almost 2 hours to bring our food out and when we complained they argued with us like we did something wrong. The owner/cook Kareem was cool at first time we start letting him know his food was ass then the energy changed. The prices on the menu was different then the prices and the check. He wasnt tryna take off any of the food knowing I didn’t even eat my side cause them jawns was disgustinging my cousin didn’t eat his cause he ordered medium lamb chop they came out well done. Now he started to give us a discount on all ready over priced items. I said he need to fix the price to where it need to be then he can over a discount. He told me he do what he want he tryna humble his self for my table. That’s how you talk to customers ? Kareem proceeded to tell me not to come back which I never planned on doing or I will not be recommending this place. Also if you get the Alfredo you need to know it’s has jerk spice and we was unaware because it doesn’t say it al all on the menu . We tried to send it back because not only was it not right but the had 5 baby shrimp for some that cause $26 is crazy,he sent the server back out with the food basically telling us we have to eat it but I know I don’t. he literally tryna get over and this food not even good . 💯 the young lady helping us got tipped cause she had a smile and was nice the whole time even thru is bs. I looked at his reviews before I went but I gave it a chance because I wanted to support my black community. But this guy right here is the reason we don’t like to go to these establishments cause yall not take the initiative to satisfy your customers just tryna make money. This place will not last sorry to say. Recently tried this place for the first time after seeing the Instagram posts. I'm big on reviews so I hope this helps ROSES- friendly staff,clean environment, the fried fish, mac and cheese, and yams were tasty. Owner circulated conversing with customers giving a little history about the place and some details about the dishes provided. TV and music for entertainment

THORNS- my son's who came out significantly earlier than mine which caused us to eat at different times not together. Was trying to hold out and wait for my food but I did not want his food to get cold but I'm coming and dining with someone I'd like to eat at the same time as them. I ordered the ramen dish which came with only two shrimp, two muscles, supposed to be a blue crab but I only received half a small crab and some legs, I don't eat mussels and asked if they could be substituted but was not accommodated with that request. Substituting two mussels should not be a big deal. Inside the vibe was positive but all of the traffic and noise from outside took away from the peace as it is located at a pretty busy intersection. Tables were not preset, and we were given plastic utensils while dining in. I've also had a difficult time reaching anyone by phone as I've called several different days at several different times and was never able to get through. That Ramen dish definitely did not resemble what I saw online and it was so much broth that it washed away all of the seasoning and flavor from the noodles and shrimp etcetera.
