Real let down on the shopping mall front in Dayton I have been advised to hit Columbus as it’s the place.

So dropped Judy at Miami Valley Hospital this morning and ended up at the Historical Park.

I was very pleasantly surprised by the array of attractions for the very young to the very old.

The history of the buildings and the information provided by the various guides about the attractions and people was a bonus.

I wandered around and let myself into the various buildings & was very surprised by the exhibits lots to see and enjoy.

This was a great experience. I initially balked at the price. The highlight of 'my' visit was the Wright Brothers building. Our guide, Bruce, shared so much in-depth knowledge that it alone was worth the ticket price. The grounds are impeccable and we enjoyed every building. The men in the print shop were especially kind and explained in as much detail as we desired. I recommend visiting the outside buildings in a clockwise direction.

Heads-up: some of the items for sale are cash only; most are not.

I had not visited in decades and came away really...

This is a good place to bring your family or to just go by yourself. There's lots to see and learn for an all day experience. Fun for all ages. Clean and friendly environment. Culp's restaurant on sight is open to the public for a nice bite to eat. They have a variety of good selection of foods to choose from and even a good selection of kids meals that is actually pretty decent. Lots of parking available for everyone including wheelchair parking. $12 for adults to visit 3 and...
