I made a used game purchase yesterday, the Internet was down, but the associate, Josh 322153, told me to try my card twice anyway. Even though the card reader said that the transaction was not complete, I was charged twice on my bank card. One of the charges was refunded automatically. I did end up paying cash, so that's all my receipt shows, however I still have a charge for $20.25 on my bank card. I called the store when I discovered the charge and spoke to "acting manager" (his words) Josh. I explained the situation, he told me to call my bank, I knew this was not the case but I enduldged him. They confirmed that the company that took the funds must do the refund. I called Josh and he told me in a very rude way that without a receipt showing the charge on my card he can't help me, and then he hung up on me. Read moreI tried to trade in an old system and games but was told they don’t do console trade ins in the “last hour of the day” because they then have to “put it in a box” and that could be “tough” to do if other customers come in. I had arrived at 8:00 (the store closes at 9:00) and there were no other customers in the store so translation: the employee didn’t want to do any work. I had already driven 20 minutes out of my way (40 minutes round trip) to go to that location because of the type of console I was trading in and would have to do so again if I want to complete the trade in solely because the employee working tonight was lazy. Some staff talking about a new employee and making fun of him in front of customers because he was not sure how to handle a situation and was obviously not trained correctly. Very unprofessional. Female borderline abuse to new employee while rolling eyes and laughing behind his back. Had to wait in line for 25 minutes to get a gift card while staff was laughing and carrying on to them selves. Older employee came in and was much more friendlier and not in with the BS going on. There is a lot of training that needs done at this location and maybe some people skills needed.
