Well this particular visit was a complete travesty!!! Tried to call ahead and order bowl biscuits and gravy Togo, well most of the time they answer thank you for calling Bob Evans on Woodman Drive will it be a carry-out order? This particular time she just said thank you for calling Bob Evans and since I know that they are busy on occasion I asked are you ready to take my order she got an attitude with me and hung up on me. Since I was heading that direction I decided not to call back because my last visit to this particular Bob Evans oh, the gravy wasn't so great it was more like a glob of glue. And for the most part I can deal with food being messed up every once in awhile, but I do not deal well with someone copping an attitude with me especially if I have done nothing warrant such actions. Once I arrived I spoke to the manager, told her the situation, and explain since the last time my food order was incorrect I called let manager know he offered me free coupons I turned them down I just wanted to let him know service people need to pay a little more attention to the food they're serving if you won't eat it don't serve it. But this time I was just trying to call in an order once I got in there explain to the manager what was going on I felt it her or the young lady that decided to hang up on me that day needed to buy me breakfast because all I wanted was my biscuits and gravy I've been trying to call my order in for 3 days keep getting put on hold and by the time I was passing by to get to work I gave up and hung up. Well apparently the young lady that told them that I asked her if she was f---ing ready to take my order. Number one my mama raised a better person than that I would never speak to a person in the hospitality industry that would be handling my food in such a way, especially before I got my food, I know everybody's seen movie "Waiting". But even more so because I worked in the food industry and I have a lot of respect for my servers because they're taking care one of the most important aspects of a person's life, eating. They're there too provide a service not be a punching bag, I work for third shift Waffle House for many years, and I don't care how drunk you are or how sober you are you do not go into a place of business and abuse the service personnel. But the big thing that really got me is after the manager was taking care a big issue and getting my breakfast, the young lady that hung up happened to be walking by stating that she wasn't buying anybody anything, and I just simply stated then maybe you should change your attitude and you wouldn't have to. Then began an onslaught of attacks from the rest of the servers one of them being her mother which that point in time I had pretty much lost my patience and I returned fire, I will give the manager this she did take care of my needs but she did not reprimand her service staff for attacking a customer we had a legitimate complaint. And just so you all know I don't go round from restaurant to restaurant pissing and moaning to get free food, I actually know where my kitchen is and know how to cook. The only reason I eat out sometimes is because I'm always on the run. But when I'm in the mood for biscuits and gravy Bob Evans is the place to go nobody can touch it. Even though I was uninvited you gone their doorsteps at that particular location I will still be sure to return one day but for now there are four other locations in the Dayton area that I will be more than happy to get my money too but the Bob Evans on Woodman Drive has at least 3 old negative women that have no problem defending a young lady with an obvious attitude problem. And yes I know that some days we have bad days but you don't take it out on...

To start, only one employee, of the three to five that saw us walk in and stand at the podium for a few minutes, acknowledged us. He showed us to our table, announced that he was our server, and took our drink orders. I made a comment to my mother that he was Corbin Bleu cute (High School Musical Corbin Bleu). He took our food orders and departed a second time. When he returned to check on us, after delivering the rolls and salads prior to our entreés per our request, he informed us that the only thing they were waiting on were the chicken breasts to my entreé. My three youngest siblings (two of which have autism) and my mother were waiting for their plates while mine was still cooking. My mother told him to bring out the kids' food if it was done, and he did, but only the kids' plates, while knowing, or at least implying, that hers was also done. It was about twenty minutes later before he brought out our plates, most of that time was spent having a conversation with the only other table in his section that had customers. Looking back, though, he may have been hovering over them to hurry to clear the table once they left, because they apparently close at 8:00pm, and it was already after 7:00pm. When he brought my mother's plate, fully knowing that it was wrong, the mushrooms and onions that were listed in the description, and NOT removed from the order, were nowhere to be seen. When she commented on the description including the mushrooms and onions and her plate not having any, he confessed to having rung her up for that steak (with the mushrooms and onions) and thought it was weird that there weren't any. But, he knew some people liked to omit them, which she didn't and he should've known better since he was the one who took and rang up her order. We ate our food. Her steak was tough on the outside, but really mushy on the inside, like ground beef as she phrased it. My chicken breasts, though perfectly cooked, lacked flavor in the breading, which was crispier than KFC's Extra Crispy chicken. We asked for four small boxes and one big, he suggested one big instead of two of the smalls, which my mother would not stand for. My family is full of picky eaters, that are picky 90% of the time. If we kept the fries with the steak and its respective toppings, then they would take on that flavor, and no one would eat them. So, we had to separate it. He brought us the 5 containers, but no bag. We hadn't asked for one, right? Well, that was because we had assumed this man appearing to be in his early twenties would have the common sense that would conclude that that bag would, in fact, be needed. After mother paid for our meal and approached the counter to ask for a bag, he came back to the table and kept walking around us, asking if there was anything he could 'pre-bust', like there hadn't been trash collecting in an empty salad bowl since he brought us our entreés. We were bagging our food and being rushed out the door. My mother had also told the manager that she would return to purchase something else once she finished running the kids' to the bathroom. The manager preceded to cash out the drawer and shut down the register. We have no intention of returning to...
Read moreMy family of 4 (2 adults/2 children) visited around 7:15pm on May 9th 2024 & ordered approximately $70 worth of food. About a quarter to halfway through the meal we saw a mouse come out of the bench next to us, run towards us & around, & then go back up into the bench through what must have been an opening by the seat. We called the waitress over & told her what we saw, & then she also saw the mouse come back out, look at all of us, & run away. We packed the food up (I'm TERRIFIED of mice) as our 2 children were walking around trying to find the mouse & then we went up to the register. When we went up, a male "Manager" said I heard what happened & we'd like to give you 30% off for your troubles so the bill went from approximately $70 to $43.00-$50 with tip & people walked in at the same time as well as my daughter saying out loud "that mouse was cute but I don't want to eat here anymore." I shushed her & we quickly left. When we got home, we threw all of the food out after talking about it because we'd learned from the exterminator we contract with for our own business that "if you see mice out during the day it usually means there's a lot of them looking for food" which to us, meant they were probably all over the place at night (on the food prep counters etc.) I called & emailed customer service & the Regional manager called me & I asked if I could have my money back as we threw the food out but he kept saying "he'd like to make it right & send us gift cards to use" but to date, the gift cards never came, & I'd called customer service to tell them we really don't WANT the gift cards if they DID come as the casual attitude of the staff/him makes us feel that they know they have mice problems & I don't understand how they are able to serve food to the public with mice running around. At this point, we literally would just like what we paid, nothing more, nothing less, & for people to know about this experience. We also contacted the health dept & let them know. I started to record my kids on a hunt for the mouse to show the waitress before she saw it too but then felt bad & stopped/told them we...
