The small CSA box is bursting with fresh, beautiful veggies each week! I'm scrambling to try new recipes to use it all. Even a small box is good to share with a neighbor, then you can purchase other veggies from the online store. Be prepared for less common, but abundant and nutritious produce, such as kale, collards, radishes, Japanese turnips, jalapenos. You'll get LOTS of whatever is available, so be ready to freeze, can, or pickle extras. We had an abundance of green and white onions in spring and now have a bounty of tomatoes and hot peppers. Mission of Mary Cooperative is special. In every way. Tucked into the inner city neighborhood of Twin Towers just where it's needed most. Growing beautiful food, non-chem, sustainably for the local families and all of us. I have seen their CSA boxes and it is the best assortment and quantity. You can pick up produce on Fridays at the farm. But don't grab and run, take a look around because it's also a nature center for local school children.
