I drove to Dayton to see the courthouse and the Scopes Monkey Trial Museum. The website clearly states that the museum is open Monday through Friday. YET, the courthouse and the museum were closed. Signs on all doors indicate that the building is closed indefinitely because of the pandemic. Read more2 stars is my review. Overall the people are generally nice and helpful. But I seriously dislike going here. Judge isn't the nicest person. Judges are supposed to be tough , wise, and open minded fairly, so that way you get a fair court hearing. This one isnt exactly that. In my experience I have been treated like I did something wrong for protecting my family. Fair and just my foot. A little bit more research into my case and I bet I would be treated...

We were able to learn about the famous Scopes Trial both from the museum exhibits and from the staff member who had also been a clerk at this very courthouse when it was still operational as a Courthouse.
