Harmony House Coffee Co — Restaurant in Dayton

I ended up in town here and was searching for a good cup of coffee… I was not disappointed! The owner was very friendly and gave an excellent breakdown of the differences between various espresso drinks and brews of coffee. I ended up ordering an iced Americano, and it was exactly the bold coffee flavor I was looking for. The owner, and another local - both of whose names I already forget, thanks to my being horrible with names - also provided me with a number of must-see areas & attractions around Chattanooga and Eastern TN. Being here on a road trip from NH, I unfortunately won’t be back soon, but I would stop by this place...

This is my favorite coffee house of all time. My family was visiting Dayton from out of town and was lucky to have a coffee roaster in Chattanooga tell us of John's excellent roasting ability. He did not disappoint. This was the best coffee ever and John has forgot more about coffee than most people will ever know. No...its not a fancy city style coffee shop, but it is warm and inviting. Loved it there. If you like good coffee, this is worth a trip out...

Have been going to this coffee shop since it opened--this is my favorite place to get coffee to this day. I'm Chattanooga local and no one beats John's coffee. This place has a great feel as it's locally owned--if you're looking for authentic to Dayton, this is it.

I highly recommend drip coffee as John roasts his own coffee here--it's always fresh. If you're going for a latte, I always get the polar sun; I can't find it...
