DO NOT GO HERE! I was rushed into making a decision because they lied and said the nursing program had a waiting list. They say whatever they think you wanna hear to get your money and get you in the door. I was told there was Night Classes for the pre-recs and nursing classes but then once I signed up and was to get my schedule was told they don’t offer that but maybe later on in the future. “They didn’t have enough need for night classes” Also was told I’d have to do clinicals as far away as Orlando and be available 7am-6pm Monday - Friday. Was also told the campus classes were 9-1 and that was ok because I live 30 mins away from the Daytona campus and drop my kids off at school at 830, but later when I checked my schedule I had classes that were 8-1 I asked about it and was told yeh those are times. How can a mother do all of this & try to work??? Also supposedly my tuition was not all covered by loans and grants so I had to pay $50 out of my own pocket every month. How can I pay for so much and have no time to work?? I also decided to do my first few classes online, BIG MISTAKE no one tells you what to do, you have to figure out what book you need and then order it yourself. You have to do that every month. The online teachers basically give you assignments and that’s it! No instruction, no examples, nothing! you have to teach yourself. Forget trying to email them to ask for help they don’t answer you! I ever tried to contact the school thinking they could help but they couldn’t even get ahold of the instructor. I emailed them to say I was thinking of withdrawing and they didn’t ask why, instead they had the financial counselor call me and say “I wanna make sure you know if you withdraw you owe us $11,000” ridiculous! For 2 online classes I owe $11,000? SCAM SCHOOL! Stay away.... All they care about is Money! They don’t care if the students succeed. Now I understand why their graduation rates are Low and the Dropout...
Read moreI had an amazing experience with Rico at Keiser University. He was incredibly helpful, patient, and informative. Rico took the time to address all my questions and made sure I fully understood the program I was interested in, as well as the tuition and costs. He never rushed me and worked hard to ensure I was comfortable with both my decision and the financial aspects of the program. He arranged meetings with Sarah and Melisa from financial aid, who went above and beyond to assist me. They answered all my questions in a clear, informative, and non-pushy way. Whenever I had a question, Mr. Rico did everything he could to help me find the answers. Additionally, the front desk lady and the woman who assisted me with the placement test were some of the sweetest and most caring people I’ve met. Their kindness left a lasting, positive impression. while it’s an investment, it’s absolutely worth it. I truly appreciate the support and warmth I received from...
Read morePotential students should be cautious. Advisor Kirsten stated that she would not pursue further with our conversation because I asked for the tuition costs to be emailed to me so I have it in writing because I have been misled by them in the past and I was weighing my options on what school to go back to. Mind you I completed my associate’s and bachelor’s degrees with Keiser; as well as volunteered with projects over the years. I am very taken aback by the lack of professionalism. Do Better Keiser. I will now be going to DSC. FYI…. This phone call occurred on July 20th, 2023 at...
