The Office Depot on Nova Rd. in Daytona by far has the worst customer service skills. Every time I attempt to give them the benefit of the doubt and try to give them another chance, each visit just gets worse. Yesterday I arrived at the store around 4:40 pm to print some forms. What she have taken 10 minutes or less. I didn't leave the store until 6:15pm, with an incomplete printing job. The one person that was available to assist people acted like she was to busy to help people that were having issues with self service printing. There was an elderly couple there that were having extreme difficulties printing their documents. I had to step away from my print job to go find the associate to request assistance. Each time I located her she was more interested in having a conversation with coworkers than doing her actual job. I'm not sure of her title but she even attempted to reprimand another employee right in front of customers, because the employee didn't line up the lamination evenly for another customers print job. Reading a lot of these comments shows that not much with this particular store will change. In the future I will use other printing options and not return to this location. The only positive thing about this visit were the two nice associates that greeted me as I entered and the one that checked me out. I think her name was Shawna other than that this location needs to have customer...
Read moreI've been supporting this local store for the past 17 (!) years whenever possible, and the staff have always done what they can to try and help me. Unfortunately like most local retailers these days, the store suffers from not having a really wide selection of goods in stock actually in the store, esp for things like computer accessories, printers, etc, forcing us to shop online instead for those more particular items. Their copy & print department can also be somewhat understaffed at times, for the amount of business coming in. I realize that it's not easy to find 'good help' these days, however the obvious shortage of KNOWLEDGEABLE staff in the store on a regular basis, can be frustrating. It's sad to see a big name brand like Office Depot in our local town, being repeatedly out-foxed by the Amazon overlords. And I don't think that there's an easy solution to this challenge. Nevertheless, I will still support this store whenever I can, and I would encourage you to check out their online web page to see if they might have what you need, right there on the shelf, before you place that order with Amazon. You can also send print jobs to them directly online, and pick them up at the store later, which has always been a very efficient way for me to get those done. Every local...
Read moreMaybe a different store with a different staff will be my call next time. All I need to say about this Office Depot Store over Nova and Beville at Daytona Beach is the worst customer service ever seen. I’m not the only one complaining about the awful service they provide and the overpriced they have. I stopped to print out a Homework from my son and these guys thought I was asking for a fully loaded, colored, and sized map. Asking me for 8 hours of waiting and to make it worse I asked for help from the manager to set up the order through their app, she literally did it by herself through my phone and even though sent my order to print out in Miami….isn’t a beautiful job? Later I came to pick up the order and guest what? Now they realize the order was set up in Miami and said that was my fault and denied that she did it. And all that she can do is cancel this order and make another one with the same waiting time. I took my son’s homework to the Walgreens 2 blocks away from there, and not only printed it out in 5 minutes, but they had a nice and professional wait to suit and provided amazing customer service and the price was 3 times less expensive than your lame and sad store which I have no doubt is going out of...
