I remember this place from years ago when it was the indoor soccer facility. Goodness how things have changed.

Here for basketball tournaments. Thankfully there was no charge for parking. Seeing reviews from three years ago, the company responders said they were working on parking challenges. From the looks of it, safe for not charging today… nothing has changed in the last 3 years.

Instead they have a young man standing at the door to police people from bringing in their Dunkin Donuts coffees and ANY water bottle or other outside beverage. It’s South Florida, my friends… people drink water. If it were even a facility that allowed no food or drink it would be ā€œmoreā€ understandable… and no… it appears as though they want to force their patrons to ā€œpurchaseā€ whatever products they carry in house or in their vending machines. *News flash… when you allow someone to bring their water or coffee, people will still buy whatever you have out of convenience… safe for those like me that are particular about my preferences which is why I bring my own.

I personally did not appreciate being dictated to dispose of my water bottle or take it to the car (which had to be parked across Jog). I felt badly for the young man appointed to stand at the door and make those requests of every person patronizing this establishment.

It is crowded. There are a lot of kids. AAU charged $20 a person which ONLY adds insult to injury. We just paid $60 to get in and can’t bring a freaking bottle of water. I’m sure Pick A Ball is compensated handsomely for the AAU rental and subsequent commissary and vending sales contribute.

I tried calling the number on line. The phone rings incessantly until it picks up with a plain beep leading one to believe that it’s a voicemail system. Alas, no one knows. Even the young man at the front door didn’t seem to know if the number was correct and thought the manager would be here soon.

Hard to believe management isn’t onsite with an event of this magnitude. Previous reviews, if still true don’t shine favorable light on Managment anyway.

I find it sad that people have lost the act of being responsible and in a customer centric industry, do not care about hospitality and customer service.

The young man at the door standing behind the garbage can and sign directing people to dispose of their drinks would be better utilized in the parking lot to direct traffic. I guess that might institute those insane parking fees again though. šŸ˜ž

Overall… the excitement of the tournament is great. The facility, seating available, cleanliness, subpar food / drink choices, and subsequent management, lack there of & their infringing directives leave a lot to be desired by this patron & family.

Side note… despite stating ā€œabsolutely no outside food or beverageā€, thankfully this does not apply to players. I guess ā€œabsolutely noā€ means...

Ive been coming to place for the longest now and never had a negative encounters like the one I had on Saturday 5/26/2018. I took my two year old son to the restroom for a change and accidentally left my purse inside of the bathroom stall. Once I noticed that I had left my purse in the ladies room, I immediately went back to see if it was still there and low and behold it was GONE! I had 320 dollars in my purse, along with my car keys, house keys, phone, and credits cards. I asked the employees if anyone had turned in anything and they said ā€œnoā€. The staff help me look for my lost purse all over the huge gym. I waited and waited to see if my purse would turn up and it never did! The person that took my purse took the entire purse and didn’t even have the didn’t have the audacity to return my car keys at least or just take the money and leave the purse. I had to call a lock Smith to come and make a whole new key for my car which cost me 250 mind you I had 320 dollars in my purse that was talking! I didn’t leave the gym till after 9pm with all three of my children. My two year old was very tired, hungry and agitated! Can you imagine what I was got by through?.... I didn’t get home till after till 10pm and had to purchasers another phone the very next day and replace my house keys that we talking too. I highly recommend, if your going to come to this gym to support your child or someone you know, please don’t bring a purse, because they will take it take your phone or any other valuables that you may have. The staff was really good In helping me trying to recover my purse; again if you will be at this gym please leave your money in the car or either home. I recommend cameras the company place cameras right outside the bathroom near the concession stand, because they currently don’t have it. When the staff showed me my husband and I the film, you can see me walk towards the rest room but you really can’t see who goes in after me and so forth. Luckily no seriously crime occurred in the restroom, because had it did you won’t be able to see who committed the crime or who went in or out of the rest room. Nice faculty but you have to have your head on a swivel and just be...

My son has been playing basketball for 8 years. This is the only facility in S. Florida that charges a steep entrance fee AND parking. Entrance fee ($15 per day) for basketball tournaments went up after places began to open after the COVID lockdown. I thought it was understandable under the circumstances. Less people at a time and facility needed to be cleaned/sanitized more often. The COVID regulations didn't last too long. After about a month, temperatures weren't checked anymore, large crowds inside the facility, no one cleaning. The bathrooms have deteriorated. They are gross and unkept.

The facility hires a third-party to regulate and charge $10 for parking on some days. There are limited parking spots around the facility. The park in the back, also with limited, free parking spots, has continuous car break-ins.

The main cafe has been closed for about a year. The food stand sells overpriced junk food. I can go on and on.

A huge rip-off for parents that just want to watch their child play sports. The facility and organizations that hold the events at this location completely take...

My little brother had a basketball tournament today and we went in to pay to watch once we got in a light skinned female with braids and a guy was collecting money and when I tell you POOOOOORRRRRRRRRRRR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! I’m like oh hello How much is to get in and she just puts the Apple Pay monitor down and points at the monitor like can you not open your mouth and speak if you hate your job quit no one is forcing you to be here !!!! I was thinking about donating to this place but I will never in my life leave them even a penny. Please do better and hire people that don’t mind doing their job. >>>> You allowed the tournament director to have their tournament at your facility so YOU and your staff should be aware of these kind of things so that they don’t happen. Their in your facility they represent you at the moment and those two are making your business look bad.

We are here right Now for a volleyball tournament and it is over 80° inside because they won't turn the AC on. The kids are all complaining about it and the parents are all hot and it's so stuffy. Yesterday, the roof was leaking on two separate volleyball courts, so it held up gameplay for a lot of the teams because we couldn't play on those courts. Finally, as seen in the picture, some parents volunteered to wipe the floor so we could continue the games, but this was still very unsafe for the players. There is barely any parking for the facility, unless you want to pay the valet fee, so you have to park six blocks away and then walk to the facility, so that's not very nice either. I definitely do not recommend this facility for volleyball tournaments.
