I had the worst experience I've ever had at a nail salon. My niece and I made appointments to be seen today and when we walked in I felt an instant negative vibe. The woman was just telling us to go sit in a chair, it was far from inviting.
I was first serviced by Sam to have my nails filled. He barely spoke to me and cut me with the drill over and over again on every finger except 1. My cuticle are still red and one finger was bleeding. Before he was even finished with me grew started working on another customer and he didn't paint my nails. I was told to go sit in a pedicure chair where another man began to work on my feet. It was the quickest pedicure I've ever gotten. My feet look great but he was rough and hurt me with his knuckles and nails while massaging my calves. It was an awkward pedicure. I asked if he could paint my nails when he was done because my nail tech never did and he tried to convince me to keep them bare because he was going to charge me to paint them.... I obviously came here to have my nails done so I told him to just do it. The picture I've included is of my nails. ... the one crappy coat he did to appease me... they look awful and at this point I just wanted to leave but I also needed a wax. The lady who did this for me was pleasant and kind, she was great to deal with, my only complaint is that she left wax on my brow and lip that I had to clean off when I got home.
At the end of the visit I ended up paying $63 for a crappy experience and nails that I'm going to have fixed at another shop tomorrow. Then Come to find out when I left that they charged my niece $53 for a fill and 1 gem so I'm positive they ripped her off.
I won't go back. I'm so disappointed. The staff was awful the work was awful and the price for a fill should never...
Read moreI have went to this place a couple times and it's really a toss up on weather you will have a good experience or not... I originally went to a girl named Houa and she was fantastic, she did a gel fill for me with a rounded nail. Then when I came in for another fill I ended up with a girl named Ashley and she was AWFUL! First when she took off my gel polish she burned me with the drill and I jumped and she said I quote " Yeah, its hot". Not oh I'm sorry I burned you.. She continued to burn me several more times. Then after she was done she asked me what shape I wanted them and I told her round like I came when I came in. Then she shaped my right hand and asked if that was what I wanted and they were square. I told her no I wanted them to be round. This is when she said to me " Hon, that is round. What you want it oval, or almond. You need to remember that and say the right thing next time you come in." I told her I asked for round last time and every other time before and always received round... So then after she reshaped them to round and did the other hand she asked if it was good now. They were all round now except one hand was drastically shorter. I pointed this out to her and she said to me " yeah that is because you didn't tell me the correct shape you really wanted". Lucky for me after she finished shaping my nails she passed me on to another girl because she forgot she had to go do something. And to top it all off the next time I came in I made sure to get in with someone else I found out that one of the colors she used on my nail was an acrylic glitter not a gel so the poor girl that did my nails had to drill it all the was off before putting on...
Read moreNew to the area and been looking for a "home" nail salon, THOUGHT this place was it until today. The techs defenitly provide quality service BUT if u don't have a relationship with any of the techs or know their names, getting someone to service you comes along with a wait. I called to make an appt but was told they were slow so just come in, doesn't matter what time. I come in and end up waiting 45 minutes, then the tech tells me to sit down, wait another 10 minutes for her to return to her chair. Then when she returns she tells me they don't have time to do a design so if I want I can get polished then sit and wait for someone to do the design because they had appt coming in. I asked what their appt policy was because I called to make an appt but was told to just come in and now I can't get what I want. The tech tells me it was probably because they don't have many tech available and they didn't want to over book a tech (well if appt are made then how would a tech be over booked?) And that I could go onto their fb page and look at the diff nail tech designs and then call to make a appt with that specific tech. To me that's bs, if someone makes an appt they make a appt period whether it's with a specific tech or not. Appts are made so ppl don't have to wait. I understand making appts with specific ppl but if I don't know any of the techs names nor am I familiar with the "appt policy" (It's def not posted on website, unless I missed it) then how am I supposed to make an appt? If I want to wait to get service then I go to McDonalds, not...
