I just went in to pick up my order that I ordered from available in the Lansing store. Notified my order was fulfilled so I went to pickup after work. Merchandise for my granddaughters. Went to my car to check order as I did not check at pick up do the rudeness of the woman at the customer service area. I just witnessed her throw a bag of merchandise at a young woman with 2 young children with her from behind her up on the counter. Startled the poor young lady. My order was incomplete and there was a random little bottle of men's deodorant in the bag. I went back in to check on my order as I was charged for the complete order and it showed it complete. She accused me of taking the merchandise from the bag. She took the sample and threw it behind the counter. I only wanted to know if my order was fulfilled or not. She called a manager (???) And told him I had said things that never came out of my mouth. I explained to him that I never said anything like that. He was rude and arrogant and was talking down to me like I was ignorant. I asked him to not talk down to me that I just want an answer. He got huffy, abusive and turned around and walked up to another customer and said "can you believe her". I was stunned and walked away crying. I went to my car and called the customer service department and filed complaints against both employees. The customer service on the phone was so helpful and documented every word as I imagined it was difficult to understand me as I was sobbing. I am a regular shopper at Kohl's and I have never been treated so incredibly rude. If I never see either one of these 2 deplorable people again, it will be...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI'm amazed that Kohls seems to get worse and worse every time I shop there. On past visits, the shopping discounts never seems to apply to the merchandise that I select. Or, they never have the size or color that I want. On my most recent visit, Kohl's had reorganized the way you pay for the merchandise you want to purchase. On this visit, I selected two placemats totaling all of $16.94. I wanted to pay in cash but that line was long. There was a string of self-pay kiosks that stood empty requiring payment with either a Kohl's card or credit card. The attendant there was begging people to use a kiosk with no takers. Meanwhile, I continued to wait in the cash line. One of the cashiers shouted out an apology to the waiting cash customers that two of the cashiers were on lunch breaks. After what had to be 10 minutes with no movement in the line, I relented and used a bank debit card just to get out of that ridiculous situation. I've sworn off returning to Kohls before but this time I mean it. ...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI feel as if I was racially profiled here. And Iāve never felt that way anywhere. I decided to go shopping for some baby food makers for my newborn. I asked customer service about an item during my visit but ended up just buying some candles. (Itās about 9 pm). On my way out Iām putting my candles in my trunk and this really old lady comes out and goes āitās him!ā And steps back inside to call an employee over. The employee inside (clearly) started staring at me through the window. I didnāt know if they thought I was stealing, definitely didnāt need to go home and bring any trouble to my family. So I asked the old lady several times if they needed me for something and she says in a very rude, inappropriate tone āare you talking to me? Why are you talking to me? Donāt talk to women walking aloneā. This old lady was an employee so I called the store about her and was told she did this off the clock, even though she was just walking out of kohls at the time.
Makes me feel very uncomfortable to shop...
