The best beach in Dennisport, BY FAR. This is a medium-sized beach, but large compared to other beaches in the area. The parking can get expensive, but the beach itself is gorgeous. The beach is to the right of the Swan River. There are so many things to do at this beach! You can bodysurf the good-sized waves, bask in the smooth sand, or go fishing off of the jetis! That is something I love to do, you can even catch stripers here. If you walk down the beach along the Swan River, there is an excellent place to go crabbing near the grove. My absolute favorite thing to do at this beach is to ride the current in the Swan River as the tide goes in and out. Me and my family love to bring tubes and ride down the river as the tide is coming in and get back on the beach near the crabbing spot. This is by far the best beach in Dennisport as there is so much to do here, and I highly recommend this beach to anyone who is looking to have...
Read moreThis is a very tiny beach, which is surrounded on both sides by "no trespassing / private beach" signs. Parking is $30 on weekends and holidays. Due to its small size, it gets very crowded. The water is very shallow, and you need to walk out very far to get over your knees. A fantastic spot for young children, as they cant get in too much trouble with the water depth, and the ice cream man comes by twice a day. Very rocky, with many broken sea shells - also, a lot of seaweed and no waves. This is not the beach experience i seek out, but i do understand the appeal to others who don't mind the above. Its basically a beach to catch sun on, and get...
Read moreIf you hate swimming this is your beach. If you enjoy swimming, find another beach. The water is shallow for around 100+ yards. There are also snail shells littering the beach, unlike many beaches I've been to in the cape, tough on the feet for sure. It's not bad if you have young kids too as you don't need to worry about them drowning in 2ft - 3ft of water. Tubing and boating is a breeze right in the river that flows to this spot too. When I was there, lots of plants were flowing in the river, and we found lots of sea life(fish, snails, conch, crabs, seagulls, and more) its not a bad beach, it's just not...
