The worst experience I've ever had with a mycologist. I'm active in the psychedelic club of denver, nowak society, and I'm a beekeeper who's been growing mushrooms and working in the plant medicine medicine space with a focus in apatharapy for years. Which is why I was surprised to come into contact with someone SO rude. First he couldn't tell me the strength of his extracts? He spoke to me like I was dumb and like it was an unreasonable question to be asking? Don't most people want to know that? He told me that he was in the middle of production and didn't have the lab tests on him. I politely asked him to get back to me at his own leasire so that I knew the strength so I knew how much to take, spend and how strong to make my supplements. This is usually something everyone wants to know I can't fathom why he didn't know and didn't want to share. He told me to just come in and said that he had most of the mushrooms I was looking for yet after I drove all the way to the shop he informed me that he was "making the products for himself and don't want to sell any"? I asked him if he knew anywhere else to go or when he would have more and he just rudely kept repeating the same sentence over and over. I was very cordial as I tend to be and not come out of in any way I have no idea how he has a business with this kind of customer service. Why have a mushroom store if you don't want to sell any and why jerk me around on the phone and make me drive all the way there? Never had so much trouble getting someone to take my money. Maybe he was having a bad day but I still will never go back to this place and you shouldn't either. I was looking for supplements to help cure my animals and my parents ailments, it's not like I was competition. Anyway there are a few apothecary's and other people growing mushrooms around the Denver area and so far they haven't been complete disrespectful jerks for no reason. I hate writing bad reviews if you look at my profile you'll see I've mainly wrote positive ones but sometimes it's so bad you just have to. With customer service like that and not wanting to divulge the strength or not having that information makes me wonder how clean his product is and how much pride he takes in his work and cleanliness of his grow areas. Buy at your...
Read moreI've been lion's mane for about 5 years now, sometimes incorporating it into the Stamet's stack here in the beautiful city of Denver ;) IYKYK
I seem to get more cognitive benefits from Fox Fungi sourced lion's mane, when compared to other small batch suppliers that I've tried over the years.
It definitely is not the cheapest, but I will continue to incorporate it into my Stamet's stack and take it on it's own,...
