I went to Victoria in December 2024 to get an installation done. I have fine and thin hair, so I was looking to achieve higher hair density and longer length. Victoria installed 3 rows of I-tip extensions and gave me a home care kit with instructions. Over the following week, I went on vacation where I diligently followed the home care (e.g., sleeping in a silk bonnet, brushing multiple times a day with a Bellami brush, only using the provided organic products, wetting with tap water and using a hair mask and tying in a braid before swimming). Within the first week of having the extensions, 4 of the I-tips fell out and the top row began to mat. Additionally, my natural hair began to twist around the bonds, which is something Victoria said she had never seen happen before. I reached out to Victoria when I noticed this and we met for a follow up appointment. She noted the matting and "product buildup" on my bottom row, which I explained was just dry shampoo I had applied earlier that morning. She stated that she wasn't comfortable doing a move up in a few weeks with the state of my hair and said I should clean it thoroughly and come back to get them redone. At this point, Victoria and I discussed two options: a partial re-install for the tips that were problematic or a full removal. I asked if she would consider at least a partial refund for the original installation considering they only lasted less than 2 weeks. She declined, offered to do the removal for half price, and we moved forward with removing every I-tip.
While I initially liked the extensions and how my hair looked, I was disappointed that Victoria did not offer at least a partial refund for the original installation or to redo a new installation for free considering that the extensions did not last until even the first move-up. Victoria stated she couldn't give me a refund or do a new installation for free because it's a service she provides and we knew going into this there may be risks. However, to me, the fact that these did not last the expected 8 to 12 months and I had to get them removed after just a couple weeks would warrant at least a partial refund considering the investment (nearly $1700 after 3 visits). We would also be re-installing the hair I already paid for. Considering I followed the home care and Victoria's statement that she did the installation the way she always does, these should have lasted longer without the stated issues above. With that in mind, I feel it would have been in both the best interests of myself and the business to...
Read moreVery professional and welcoming. I went in not knowing what I wanted but we looked at pictures together of different colors, tones, cuts, and styles and she achieved a look that was better than I could've asked for. I was so relaxed I actually fell asleep while she was blow drying my hair! She styled it beautifully and I left feeling like a queen. I went back again for a gloss and hair treatment and we again talked about what I liked and what I did not like as the color faded over time. We decided to brightened up the money piece and she did her magic with the gloss. Again I was very relaxed and catered to. She offered water and snacks, and sprayed essential oils in the room it was super nice. I left once again feeling like a queen. My hair feels magical. Highly recommend Victoria's hair services, I'm never going to anyone else again! You are truly amazing at what you do. You made me feel very catered to and welcome. I felt so relaxed and special. Even though I gave you a lot of freedom with my hair, we achieved a look that was perfect for my lifestyle. As a working mom, it's so hard to take time for myself without feeling guilty that I'm taking time away from my family. But I didn't feel that way when you were doing my hair. Afterwards, I felt more confident and happy that I took this time for me. I have gotten my hair colored before but I've never gone back for touch ups or regular trims because I didn't know I needed to. You talked to me about long term health, maintenance, and what to expect as the color fades which was new for me to hear from a stylist. We changed my shampoo/conditioner and routine and overall the health of my hair I feel has changed for the better and I ultimately feel like my self esteem boosted. Thanks for everything! I appreciate you and...
Read moreVictoria charged me over $2000 for "three rows" only to find out from other stylists she only put two in (she cut them to make a third). When I reached out to Victoria to get my extra hair (because two stylists noticed she had cut my wefts) she said there was no extra hair left and I paid for a "look" (I guess that means she keeps all of the extra hair that I paid for). I did not get what I paid for and was scammed out of my money. You would think of the nearly $5000 I paid her she would make things right. She has refused to give me the hair I paid for.
Not only has she refused to give me my extra hair, when I went to a new extension stylist who has been doing this 20 years, she told me the beads she puts in my hair were way too close together and puts too much stress on my hair, my new extension stylist puts one for every 2 Victoria does. I was also made aware that Victoria does too many "mini move-ups before taking the extensions out thus damaging my hair and putting at risk for bald spots.
All in all, I will not return to this studio, my natural hair has become so thin and damaged. I would not recommend this studio. I found another extension stylist who is half the price and 5x...
