Shoot Indoors Central Park — Attraction in Denver

Today was my first experience ever shooting a gun. My partner and I decided to go to Shoot Indoors Central Park. I can not express enough how good this entire experience was. Being my first time as a woman this experience can be intimidating especially when not familiar with the whole world of guns. From the gecko we were greeted and taken care of with friendly faces and all the information and safety guidelines. When we got there after prepping and getting set up on our assigned lane, we had the whole space to ourselves which really helped me ease into the loud sounds and just overall place. After a couple minutes we were approached by one of the employees who worked there and he was absolutely amazing. His name was Brett and he really made the whole experience wonderful. He was really helpful knowing it was my first time and had really good pointers and ways for me to improve not only my shot but how to properly and safely handle a gun. My partner is an experienced gun owner so his knowledge was also there but he agreed speaking and interacting with Brett was beneficial and super fun overall. Here the staff is very keen on the proper education and safety when it comes to guns and Brett even introduced me to one of the owners with other opportunities through their range. They have a lot of good option but most of all they work with Armed Women of America once a month to host a class just for women to even just observe, learn, participate, and train within the comfort of an all women’s group. The owner herself was also amazing and just overall we had a great time. They offer many services so I hope that if you decide you want to properly use a firearm or just learn more about the safety surrounding firearms I highly suggest going here. I just want to finish out and say as my first ever experience, which can be very important to the future of how many feel or handle guns, I felt comfortable, safe, and extremely well taken care. Decided to Try out This place as it was close by, and I am very glad that I did. Being nervous as it was my first time ever being to a gun range indoors as most of my shooting has been out doors I didn’t know what to Expect. I walk into the door and was immediately greeted by Trace. I had told him that I recently took a CCW class as was looking to shoot some 9mm’s and some 380, immediately he pulled out 9 firearms that I might be interested in conceal carrying for myself, I asked a multitude of questions and answered every single one of them without hesitation or making me feel like he was a know it all, signed the waiver and got training on how to properly use all the firearms that I choose to start off with, (S&W 380 EZ, Glock 19, SIG SAUER P320 and 365, AK47 And An AR ) He had made sure before I fire that I was comfortable with it and that knew what to do incase of a jam. Than once I was done I met the rest of the staff who were open to questions and were also just as knowledgeable about any of their services they provided. I asked Samantha about the Memberships they provide and answered any concerns about pricing guest accommodations and also told me about them having Thursday’s for ladies night which can give you and the Mrs a chance to shoot with free gun rentals on that day, she gave me a card with a phone number that she had said they will answer any questions about their services or about firearms. the card also had a QR code for the website if I wanted to signs up or look at any classes they provide if I do want to try it at a later time, they had also told me about pricing the whole way through so I’m not surprised at the end and kept it simple and didn’t treat me like an idiot I wish the star rating could be higher cause it deserves 10/10.

Will most definitely be coming here for any classes...

Update after a year of my original review: Over a year ago, I was among the first to leave a review when this range had just opened. Since then, it has become one of my favorite weekend spots. My appreciation and love for this place have only grown stronger over the past year. Sam, Nick, and every member of the staff are always professional and friendly. With top-notch instructors, excellent facilities, a variety of courses, and fun events, this range is truly a dream place for all shooting enthusiasts. Over the past year, it has helped me improve my shooting skills tremendously. As I’m about to leave Denver, I know I’ll miss this place a lot. Wishing your range continued success and growth!
