I enjoyed Hallowicked. The only thing I would change is making the smoking section bigger.

I will not recommend The Russel until my hoodie is replaced or I am reimbursed. Upon arriving I dropped off my shoes and my hoodie at coat check. Before ICP went on I got my shoes and gave them my boots. (I didnt want them ruined from faygo.) When the show was over I went to get my belongings and they only had my boots. They somehow gave my hoodie away. I'm really upset about this. I didnt purchase it there I purchased in in STL for 80 bucks. All they could tell me was they were sorry. The hanger was there with my number but it was empty. They said the guy working before them was disorganized. But how hard is it to look at a number on a hanger and not give it to someone if they dont have that ticket? Curtis Dalton the production manager came and talked to me. He apologized and said he would contact ICPs tour manager and get ahold of me. He told me he would get the same hoodie or get me something of equal value. He said to give him until the Monday after Halloween and he would contact me. A woman working the coat check took all my info. I'm talking address, email, number, picture and description of the hoodie. I watched her email Curtis. Thankfully I took a picture of his email. I waited on Curtis to contact me and he never did. I emailed him and he never responded. I found him on Facebook, sent him a message, and he never responded so here I am. I flew from Kansas City to attend Hallowicked and my hoodie just gets given away. I want this...

Title: A Captivating Day at the Russell Industrial Complex!

Review: I recently had the pleasure of spending a day at the Russell Industrial Complex and it was nothing short of incredible. The space is a dynamic blend of the past and the future, where industrial architecture is transformed into a thriving hub of arts and humanities.

From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the vibrant energy that pervades the complex. The wide array of projects showcased here is awe-inspiring, displaying an impressive range of creativity and talent from local artists, designers, and entrepreneurs.

I was particularly charmed by the sense of community the Russell Industrial Complex fosters. It’s not just a venue for exhibitions, it’s a nurturing environment where creativity flourishes and ideas are born.

Another great aspect of this gem is its commitment to supporting local businesses. This is palpable in everything they do, from the products sold in their retail spaces to the events they host. It’s a testament to the power of supporting and uplifting your local community.

In conclusion, I would highly recommend the Russell Industrial Complex to anyone looking for a unique, enriching experience. It’s a testament to Detroit’s resilience and creativity, a place where arts and humanities come to life in the most captivating way. So, visit, explore, and support your local businesses - you won’t be disappointed! Five stars...

This is, by far, the worst venue for a concert in Michigan. I have been to over 30 for comparison. The parking lot is a unmaintained mud pit with poor signage. No direction, urgency, or security provided by the unorganized staff which had cars backed up beyond the nearest highway exit and added a significant amount of time to get in the door. The "security" only exists to pretend to wand you for 1 second and then wave you on. The "balcony upgrade" is a railing on one side stacked 3+ people deep with everyone squeezing in to try to get a video on their phone, blocking everyone else's view. The "balcony" on the opposite side of the venue is staff-only and was empty while the rest of us packed tightly into the only open one. One of the very wide hallways inexplicably has a regular house-sized doorway which would surely be a bottleneck in any emergency like a fire. Unless you are in front of the stage and damaging your hearing, the sound is very poor due to the high-ceilings. Don't expect to enjoy anything at a distance. I will NEVER be returning here, and nobody else should either. If I could give negative stars, I would. Such a complete waste of money and time. It's a shame because the the bands that performed tonight are always fantastic in any other venue. But hey, it's...

I didn't go inside the club, it looks like a lot of fun but I'm just not apart of that scene anymore. I have it 3 stars because it's a dangerous area. No matter how many security guards they have standing around there's just way too many dangerous scenarios that can play out around this place. The club is inside of the old factories courtyard. Then one section is for the club, buttherest of the buildings are random art studios located in the other buildings. Most of these buildings have endless corridors with no one in sight. There are sheets of paper taped to the walls that say call for security plus the #. The problem is the number is out of service. DON'T COME HERE ALONE.I got here at around 5, the line was already forming. By the time I was leaving around 9 the line was all the way across the entire parking lot. It gets very busy.

Such a cool venue. Don't let the looks scare you. I spoke to multiple locals who said they love the venue and I would have a great time and they were right. I paid $20 for parking of which there is a lot in the middle of the buildings so cars are decently hidden which is nice. The venue itself was very cool and there's a lot of space for standing you can be as close to the stage or as far away as you'd like. There are other parts to explore and some cool extras that make the experience better. For the concert I saw, multiple outside vendor food trucks ended up coming which is great to grab something between acts. There were at least 4 bars to go to inside the venue as well. I definitely would make the drive from Illinois again if given the chance
