John's Sweeper Service — Attraction in Dover

My mother took her vacuum to this store because it was clogged. The person who runs this place took almost A WEEK to respond to her about a price range. She only got a response after she called MULTIPLE times, then they told her it would need filters replaced... The vacuum isn't even 6 months old so the filters wouldn't need replaced. My mother just ran the vacuum after getting it back from the shop and THE ROLLERS FELL OUT BECAUSE THEY CRACKED AND BROKE A BRAND NEW VACUUM. YOU WILL BE HEARING FROM US ON MONDAY AND WE EXPECT EITHER A FULL PRICE REFUND FOR NOT ONLY THE COST PRICE TO FIX THE VACUUM BUT ALSO A COST PRICE FOR A REPLACEMENT VACUUM OR YOU WILL BE REPLACING HER VACUUM WITH A BRAND NEW ONE. THIS IS COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL. ESPECIALLY SINCE THIS IS THE ONLY VACUUM STORE IN OUR LOCAL AREA. We have a Dyson vacuum that wouldn't stand upright. We had taken it to the now closed repair shop that was in New Philadelphia and was told he couldn't figure out what was wrong. I took it to John's on Friday afternoon and dropped it off knowing it wouldn't be looked at until Monday. Monday afternoon he called and left message what was wrong and the estimate. First - this IS a store selling new vacuum equipment - it just happens to have a cool museum within it! Can't say enough about this quirky/cool place! John is a super nice guy, and he lets you mosey around at your own leisure taking in the historic memorabilia, and he's happy to not only assist you with YOUR vacuum needs, but gives you some interesting fyi on the historic pieces - that YOU probably grew up with!
