Dowagiac Area History Museum is a beautiful and historical spot to learn all about the city, located next to the railroad tracks, this museum is filled with an unforgettable experience ranging from the Potawatomi Indian culture to Old Oak stoves and map of the town about a century old. My 2 yr old son liked the interactive waterwheel and grind stone. I especially enjoyed the underground railroad room with the hidden switch and also learning about the orphans who were brought here.
