Spa Rhea — Attraction in Draper

I started coming here last year for a tattoo removal. I was contacted by an employee, looking for models for tattoo removal services. The employee said that if I paid up front, it would take care of all of my sessions, and I wouldn’t owe anything else. I thought that this was too good to pass up, so every 8 weeks I made the hour commute to get my procedure done and was very happy to do so.

At my last appointment, I was told that my previous esthetician was not there anymore, but that they would continue to see me for my removals with their new esthetician. Which I was totally fine with. I was scheduled for an appointment today and received a text saying that they discontinued their tattoo removal services and that I was not able to go there anymore- without giving me recommendations for other offices to go to. They told me that they would refund me the remaining credits on my account, which wasn’t very much, or transfer the credits to a new service.

While I liked this place, had great results and the girls were very nice, I don’t understand why my treatment couldn’t have been finished. I am now forced to find another office and pay their price, on top of the price that I paid here. I’m very frustrated, disappointed and stressed, as this is a large cost that I wasn’t prepared for and I’m now left with a half removed tattoo. I feel as if this was incredibly wrong and very unprofessional.

They should at least finish up their current clients removal services or give a full refund before discontinuing a service. I'm incredibly unhappy that they stopped my treatment more than half way through and I now have to go elsewhere just to have this service finished, without knowing what technology they used, or what settings were successful, so that I can continue...

What an amazing experience I had a Spa Rhea! The minute I walked in, I was greeted by every employee. Offered my choice of coffee, water or tea by Savannah, which made me feel right at home! This was the first time for me there so, I had to sign consents. Which was a very simple process. Being a guy, skin care is not the easiest thing to do or admit you need to do. Not only did Janis Huber, NP educated me on everything that I had scheduled to be done. She also thoroughly explained what to expect and how to take care my skin once she was done. Not once was I made to feel embarrassed about the procedures being done. I had Botox for my full face. Janis explained what to expect and how to take care of my face once she was done.
