Heritage Center — Attraction in Dubuque

Beautiful space but the venue and staff/volunteers are not overly friendly. My sister in law was told 3 separate times that she couldn’t bring the car seat in for my 9 month old nephew, after having to buy him a ticket even though he never sat in the seat on his own. No changing tables in the bathrooms. Videoed some of the performance for my mom who wasn’t able to come recovering from surgery and was scolded rudely to stop videoing. This same person also told 2 other people to stop videoing in the front row during rhe quartet’s set, which was widely distracting. The lady videoing wasn’t distracting, the staff member was. Maybe read the room on the people attending the performance and the performance itself. You can video most big name concerts, if it was a rule it should have been mentioned before the...

Visited the UD campus for the first time, have a daughter that will be attending this Fall. Amazing facility is what I kept saying over and over. The buildings and grounds are nice, actually VERY nice. Met some staff members, and everyone was friendly, positive and helpful! Just a great first impression that I am sure will continue beyond today. UD is for sure a well-kept secret, because you just wouldn't expect this level of sophistication and quality infrastructure in Dubuque, but...
