This one is for Riley Jenkins (last name unknown):
And once again The setting sun Once again, I am sated
The Humanist said, Love him for who he is, and do not hate him for the words of others.
Better than water More pleasant than songs The most pleasant thoughts I’ve ever had Alone In the setting sun
Such sweetness doesn’t air the skies Nor such honor please the minds For tasks are simple And others don’t wish Except for the pleasure Of these words that mist
Watching the grass grow Majicks of memory Playing on the back of my lids Humming human breaths
Birds singing, time passing by No sweeter melody Than the air in the sky
So much fear for my mistakes That I have opened up from me Fortified by the joy Of the Humanist’s memory Knowing I’d endure I promised never to aim my mind at myself
Not at once, but soon after Such joy to her memory
Ah, better than water More pleasant than songs The most pleasant thoughts I’ve ever known Under the evening sun
It’s beginning to chill And time for a walk Thoughts of only the Humanist I suppose

Read moreMy daughter and I toured the campus. It was clean and peaceful environment. The tour guide was very informational around the West campus. She even gave an overview about the East campus. When the tour was over, my daughter and I ate in the dining hall. We both were able to speak to various backgrounds of students that attend the University. They gave a very honest opinion about the institution. I was very impressed to hear of the pros and cons of Duke; especially transferring college credits from another institution. The students even gave some expertise on setting your schedule, if you wanna go abroad or mingle between the other universities in the area. This was completely fascinating. I only wished the admissions staff would of given an overview about admissions before venturing the campus. Make sure you get a map, you can get a little lost when you're tour is over. I'm just thankful for what was shared to my...
