DO NOT GO HERE. Apparently (according to the doctor I saw that says everyone comaplains about the same issue) when schedulers schedule you they purposely leave out that you have to pay for parking in a deck and walk a considerable distance to get your appointment where you then have to wait in a long line that services both check in and out even if you've taken the time to "check in" online. They told me to come a half hour before my appointment, which I did and I sat there for total of 1.5 hours to be seen. It cost me $8 in the parking deck, plus copay, plus gas for an hour and 20 minute drive. In sum a lot of wasted time and money and if you have pain or mobility issues you'll not just be struggling you'll be paying extra for it. You also have to go through a metal detector so I'd you have mace, they will make you walk all the way back to the car. Is it worth it? Did I get help? No, I saw a resident doctor who did zero tests and said they couldn't help....
Read morePlease be aware, that Duke charges extra for clinic that is in their hospital. When, I questioned billing they said they do because they can since they bill as an out patient services. The reason is because it is connected and owned by Duke. I was told since there was a disclaimer on their portal that made it legal. When I asked for management I was told that was the rules and no one would change it. I tried to explain that this could not change unless someone challenged it. I will continue to work on getting this changed since this is one of the reason medical insurance is so high and out of control. BCBS indicated that there was nothing they could do since it was a legal scam to pat the bill and they would be happy to reevaluate it if Duke would change the code. This is a legal scam since Duke gets their money and BCBS does not have to pay more. Instead it is left to the individual like myself to pay the difference. Once again the client...
Read moreThe staff is cool, but the Parking fees are a RIP Off. Charging folks to park while people are seeking Medical treatment, like it's a club messed up. And if you lose your ticket, even though they have cameras, they charge you 15 dollars, even if the clinic has only been open for 2 hours. The Valet line is often backed up to the traffic light, which means if you want to make your appointment you have to park across the street, and keep track of a ticket, which you might lose, especially since you are trying to rush to make your appointment, especially if you have never been there before and drove hours to get there. If it's 2 dollars an hour, (which is billed after 15 minutes another rip off) the person exiting at 10 am, you know they have been there no more than 2 hours, why charge them 15.00 for a lost ticket, which apparently has been raised by 5 dollars. On top of gas, and paying copays,...
