I would never go here again and as a sophomore I’m glad to transfer. My roommates and I had issues, they bullied me and housing did nothing besides remove me, AND kept my money for it. Then they dropped my in person classes and I was blamed for it despite asking for two months straight for them to be dropped, which dropped my GPA and didn’t allow me to switch to an online program. They even asked me to come IN PERSON 3 TIMES after I told them I live hours away.. no consideration for their students. I asked to be put on leave of absence so I can come back in Summer, and instead was dropped completely. That’s all I needed to know I’ll never be giving this school my money ever again. The cafe food is mid, the staff don’t care, and don’t get me started on the students. Never...

This was my dream school , I came as a transfer student in the spring at the time my financial aid was still pending I was told that I would be fine and he awarded as soon as possible. In my first 3 weeks I went up to financial aid EVERYDAY because I was always missing something this school is VERY unorganized. I was dropped from my classes due to no financial aid and almost kicked out of my dorm because of them. Here it is going on bottom of week 3 and I still have NO books , it took me 3 weeks to receive my meal ticket as well so I had to buy my groceries myself. This school set me up for failure before I could even try. Now I have to play catch up and I still have no books at all. If I knew then what I know now I would not be attending...

Previously a graduate student enrolled here.

At the beginning of the semester they tell you that your classes will be cancelled if you don't arrange payment of tuition - this is not true. Even if you don't make arrangements and don't pay you'll stay enrolled and they'll charge you for the semester anyway, withholding your transcript.

My advisor left partway through a semester without informing any of her advisees, which left a withdrawal form unsigned.

Multiple interactions with registrar have been no help. Department chair and professors have been no help.

One of the worst administrations I've dealt with as a student.

You're better off finding your...

Move-in day for students. I was a volunteer through my church, which we have been doing for some years. We helped to facilitate a smooth move-in on a sunny day. We assisted in moving things to one of the halls, served water to ease the stress of climbing up to go to the halls. Breakfast and pizzas for lunch. We also shared care packs, which contained lip balm, cup, foot and hand cream to students.

The best University in the world. Professors that care and just a great place for learning and growth for minds that want to soar like an Eagle. This is where Eagle Pride is amplified. Academics, athletes, and service. This university is the heart of Durham. From Law to Business to Education and much much more!

I came here for a COVID-19 vaccine. The staff was welcoming and the event was very organized. I appreciated the signage and easy parking. Nursing students administered the vaccine. They were very professional and quick! My shot was painless. It was a great atmosphere to receive the vaccine.
