Moodus Skatepark — Attraction in East Haddam

Always a great place for kids. Check the social distancing rules and come early if you want it open.

Naturally a teen hang out after 2ish but I have always found the other scooters (scooters not skateboarding the thing right now) so respectful and helpful to younger children.

Only time I have issue with other attendees are usually 30 year old skateboarders upset at all the young children on scooters. Has only happened 2-3 times over the years.

There is little shade and no water. It gets hot....

Great skatepark, something for beginners and experienced skaters as well. Nice smooth concrete, good flow to the park, and the best bowl I've skated so far. Not too steep so you can roll right in, but it does have steep parts too if thats your thing. I definitely recommend...

Beautiful little park, stuffed with really rideable features and interesting corners. The bowl is cool and morphs into a bank to bank. I went late on a Sunday and was the only one there. Wish I had more time. I’ll have to make...
