Their prices are ridiculous. $18 for a large grinder & fries that is only average at best & I have to make special requests to it because they can’t figure out how to not cook cheese on top of your lettuce, fries that you ask for to be “well done” yet they’re still soft. Not sure what management or ownership is on but they have lost their minds if they think a grinder & fries is worth more than $12 at most. Not only that but they own the whole plaza where they’re located & have bothered to have the pot holes & parking lot properly fixed since it was installed. They just leave the pot holes sitting there & patch it with the cheapest stuff that only lasts about a month. You’d think with the outrageous pricing of the average at best food is that they’d at least replace the whole parking lot over the whole property including the area over by the pharmacy that they own where people have to literally park in dirt. Owners need a wake up call here. Your food and service isn’t with the price...
Read moreFirst, our waitress was wonderful! My grinder was very good. The restaurant is clean and comfortable seating
The reason for the 2 star rating is because they charged an additional $6.oo on top of the $8.95 for a small cheese pizza. That’s $14.95 for a small cheese pizza that was made on a frozen pre made gluten free crust. I can purchase two frozen gluten free pizza crusts of equal quality from stop and shop for about $7.00. It’s unfortunate that we were not told this. My husband had called ahead to see if they had gluten free food and we are happy that they offer this type of food but it seemed a bit pricey when we got the bill. When I questioned the charge they told me that they don’t make any profit on the gluten free pizza. Like I said, Stop and Shop full price for two frozen crusts is $7.00 so $3.50 a crust. $14.85 - $3.50 = $11.35. Apparently that’s not enough profit on a meal for someone with special...
Read moreI've eaten here relatively frquently for at least 34 years and am rarely dissappointed. The service varies but the food is consistantly good with generous portions. It is what it is, an Italion style Greek restaurant; that is, Greek style pizza, pasta, and a few Greek items along with a variety of comfort food with a decent kitchen. It is family run with the original owners still on site and on fhe job much of the time. This is likely what helps to keep the food consitent and predictable. It is typically pretty busy but waiting for seating is rare. It is an excellent feeding hole but not not fine dining or gourmet. This is a great and casual place to eat if yiu are in the area and hungry but I wouldn't call it a destination restaurant. Hungry, nearby ? Then stop in and fill up. You won't be...
