I almost never leave negative reviews, and I try to see the positive and well-intentioned efforts of every place. I think this place is so highly rated because it is a nostalgic experience that locals are willing to pay for. We came on a Friday morning. Admission was $7 for the four of us, which includes my 14 y/o and 12 y/o. You pay that just to get into the area with the displays, which seems to be set up by local establishments (businesses, fire halls, post office, etc) and maybe a way to advertise while providing mild (and I'm being generous) seasonal entertainment and photo ops for families. The "ride" apparently requires a reservation, and you drive through with your own vehicle, and it costs an ADDITIONAL $25. Gift store prices were a bit outrageous too...$10 for a small bag of beef jerky? No thank you. There are so many places that are a better value, and are more transparent about pricing. Not a horrible experience, just not a good value and far from worth it in my opinion, especially if your kids are older...
Read moreCame down last minute with my wife and two kids. One 3 yr old and one 9 months. To be exact 10 mins to 5pm because they close at 5pm. Since we are here already my 3 yr old was gonna jump for 10 mins, the ticket girl charged me full amount ($6 for each, $12 total) for two tickets, my wife and a 3 yr old because someone needs to be with the 3 yr old. Full price for 10 mins so rediculous!!!!! Card was swiped and signed, two tickets are given. Then she said oh you can't go in with them (me and my 9 month old) because we would have to pay for the tickets as well. This made me so angry and its So ridiculous that I went back to my car and set with my 9 yr old while my wife was inside with my 3 yr old. I wrote this while sitting in a car. I was here for the first time and it's the worst service I ever had. This place is a rip off. I gave you one star othervise it would be "0" worst customer service ever. If your thinking about coming here Go somewhere else because this place is a ...
Read moreIt’s a cute place for what it is. But we went on Columbus Day so a lot of people had the day off. Extremely overcrowded, they really need to limit the number of ticket entries per hour better. It was so crowded to the point it was almost dangerous for little kids, the jumping on the tires and flying down the pole thing. At one point there was a group of children pummeling/jumping on the giant inflatable pumpkin. When we left I noticed it was destroyed. There were no workers around, so everyone’s for themselves. Bees everywhere that make it quite un-enjoyable. And they had one elderly lady making balloon animals so the line was wrapped around the place, same with the face painting. You basically go there to wait in lines. This is a one and done place,...
