LV Nails & Spa — Attraction in East Hanover

Exceptionally disappointing "spa pedicure" today 7/31. I was a walk in and requested 55$ spa pedicure. Unfortunately, I was "serviced" by someone brand new (obviously I was not told). She did not know even most basic things - like how to open the packages (they have standard set of 4 packs). Did not know steps of spa pedicure process, she insisted scalding water was good for my feet even though I said I'm sorry its too hot, she cut my 4th toe with clipper while attempting to cut nail off 5th toe (how does one even do that???), she put so much cream on leg I could not see my natural skin tone underneath that gooey mess, she barely touched my foot with pumice/ scrubber, skipped callus remover application all together, she then came with a hot stone so hot it once again scalded bottom of my foot. Instead of it being a pleasurable, relaxing experience I was all coiled up awaiting more mishaps. Look below at the final result 1 hr after "spa pedicure". Although I understand the concept of "on the job training" experimenting on customers who pay 55$ for pedicure is inexcusable! Penny wise - pound foolish. I went here on a whim with my mom as it was too late to make an appointment at my normal spot. They only asked my mom what she wanted done when we came in. My mom is several shades lighter in skin tone than I am (BTW, stating that someone's mom looks better than them is rude in any language). The only reason I even got serviced was because my mom mentioned to them that I came in for service as well. I also didn't notice that one of my toenails were smudged until I was at the mall despite the woman who worked on my toes putting cuticle oil on them so I could put my shoes on.

Was referred to LV Nails by a friend. and took my daughter to get her first set of Gel manicure prior to the first day of school. At first, the salon staff was apprehensive that they could duplicate the style she requested, but they were willing to try. The nails came out beautifully! I cannot give this salon enough compliments for their patience and professionalism. A 10 out of 10 in my book! They went above and beyond for my daughter and, in the end, she and I were extremely satisfied with the outcome! I highly recommend this salon. You will leave feeling like you were...
