Do not trust this repair shop with your vehicle. I will not recommend this repair shop to anyone. I was lied to and ripped off for hundreds of dollars. Simply put, my transmission was going, yet I was told it was tire rod ends and ball bearings. I paid for the repairs, over $600.00, but still, the issues persisted. I went to another repair shop and had them run a diagnostic test. Paid $180.00. The service representative told me it was definitely the transmission and that I should promptly return to Superior and request a full refund. She added that any reputable shop would have instantly made the assessment of transmission failure. I called Superior back and informed them of their fraudulence. The woman attempted to pacify me by insisting that it was not a transmission issue that they had checked it, and they were sure it was not failing. At this point, the woman did tell me that " if " they found something wrong with the transmission, they would send me to another shop for the repairs and do a little something to help with the price. Then, she offered to recheck my vehicle again. So, I foolishly took my jeep back to them. This time, they told me it was a recall issue, and Jeep had done an update on all Jeep patriots. That all I needed was to have my transmission flashed to allow the update to be recognized. I then went to a Jeep dealership in Bangor, paid $91.00 for the flash service. They seemed confused and weren't sure I knew what I was talking about, but we're delighted to make some extra cash. After driving my vehicle for a couple of weeks, it seemed to be driving better. Order new spark plugs and some other tune-up essentials for $200.00. I thought my vehicle problems were fixed. However, my Jeep started to lose power. I took it back to Superior for the last time. I believed something had gotten into the spark plug port or that somehow I was given the wrong spark plugs. Superior had my vehicle for over a week before I called. When the same woman I had been dealing with the entire time got on the phone, she told me, " ITāS THE TRANSMISSION!" Then, after previously telling me that Superior did not fix transmissions, she offered to send me a quote for the repairs. NEARLY $ 4,000.00! I nearly lost it. Do NOT TRUST this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreInitially just needed to get my van inspected in PA. That went fine and well. My husband liked the service so when we had A/C issues, he wanted to go back. Today is Thursday. We called last Thursday to inquire about repair, they were busy and not going to be open on the weekend so we were told to call the following week which we did. We couldn't drop it off Monday because they wouldn't be able to get to it, same with Tuesday. Wednesday we were told that we could drop it off that night and they would get to it first thing in the morning, great! Not so much. My husband cared at 10 to check the status and they hadn't got to it yet. Fast-forward to 1:13, when my husband walks in the door saying we have to go get the car because they haven't even got to it. I get it, shops get busy, but the gross lack of communication is what bothered me. No real reason of why it didn't get diagnosed just a sorry we couldn't get to it. Communication is key and there just wasn't any unless initiated by us. I wasted a day having my car at a shop that told us they would do something and didn't follow through. Now I have a wasted day and an A/C that still doesn't work properly.It sucks because their location is convenient. I guess if you don't need your car at a certain time leaving it there...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI initially found them 3 years ago because they are an approved vendor for Intoxalock. While the Intoxalock Reps are a nightmare, Jen and Kenny are AMAZING!! They welcomed me with open arms from the start! Iām a mom of 3 who works full-time and is in school. My life is TOO busy and TOO hectic sometimes and when things come up and, I need their services ASAP, they (usually Jen) goes āHow quick can you get here?!ā Lol. She is a saint! Just wonderful and talented people. Additionally in the 3 years I started coming here, Iāve also had them do my oil changes, tires and inspections as a general auto reference. All good!!
Side note: I donāt know his name but the nice gentleman that works on the Intoxalock installations/removals is top notch! My install and, most recently device transfer into my new car, came out seamless compared to others Iāve seen.
